Favorite Jodi Picoult books?

I just finished Change of Heart a couple days ago and I loved it!

My favorites by her areee Nineteen Minutes, My Sister's Keeper, and The Pact.

Any other fans?

You pretty much named my favorites!

Of her books that I've read I like them in this order:

1. The Pact
2. Nineteen Minutes
3. My Sister's Keeper
4. Plain Truth
5. Change of Heart
6. Vanishing Acts (didn't like too much)
7. Keeping Faith (I've tried to read it twice and just can't get into it)

*It's really a toss up for me about The Pact and Nineteen Minutes. I absolutely LOVED both of them.

Wow! I just finished a book of hers a week ago. It's called Harvesting the Heart. It's the first one I ever read of hers before. I sort of discovered it by accident. It was laying around the laundry room in the building I work in. I thought it was pretty good.

I've only read 2 of her books, My Sister's Keeper (absolutely loved it!) and Keeping Faith (found it hard to get through).

Yeah, I tried reading Keeping Faith but it was way too boring. It mentions Faith and Ian in Change of Heart! I thought that was pretty cool. I noticed in two of her other books The Pact and I can't remember the other one, another character showed up in both of those books.

I have just today finished Nineteen minutes and because I have read a few of her books so far, I started looking for the plot twist from the first chapter...lol. Prior to this, I had read Handle with care, which I found to be similar to Sister's Keeper.
So far my fav is Plain truth. I have yet to see the Lifetime movie that was made, but want to see it as Maritza Hargitay from Law and Order SVU plays the lawyer.

I saw the Lifetime movie! It was pretty good, but the books are always better.

They made The Ninth Circle into a movie too on Lifetime.

I didn't know that The Ninth Circle was made into a Lifetime movie as well. Thanks for the info. Will look for that one to see as well.

Ok, this is too funny! I was wandering through the book section of my grocery store and I picked up a Jodi Picoult book. I turned it over to read the back and all I could see was her gorgeous curls! I actually grabbed my SO and made him look, LOL! The book looked interesting, but it was 20 bucks and I'm trying to be more money conscious lately. Since I've never read her books, I decided to get a couple from the library and see if I like her. Anyway, to make a long story short, I came on here to start a thread asking for suggestions, and found this one was already here! Should have known that she would be popular with the curlies already :)

Her curls look very healthy - wonder if she's CG?

Yeah, she's got beautiful curls. Redcelticcurls actually met her at a book signing and posted about it a while ago. I think she mentioned they actually discussed hair stuff too.

My faces by her are Mercy and a Plain Truth, but I hated My sisters keeper.

I've read my Sister's Keeper. But really couldn't understand what the fuss was all about. I was determined to finish it, so forced myself, but it didn't hold my attention. I found it dull and trite I'm afraid.

Its put me off trying her other books even though she is so popular. But I don't know that it is her per-se I can't get on with, more the genre she is writing. Im more drawn to YA books, fantasy and adventure or mystical rather than everyday, mundane adult life settings.

I love hearing about what everyone is reading though. Had so many good books recommended to me on here :)

Maybe someone could recommend another of her books I might enjoy more?

I love her books...Sisters Keeper was my fave. Wish I had never seen the movie!! I was sooooo mad LOL what a disappointing spin on such a perfectly written ending.

You may enjoy The Outlander series I am reading. Chick book at times (told by a female character) but quite graphic at times too.

I've noticed this about her books too.

Nineteen Minutes is the first one that I've read, so I think it's my favourite, along with Plain Truth.

I believe that the only ones I haven't liked were The Tenth Circle (the comics were annoying) and Mercy (just didn't enjoy it).
