A Gentle Non-stripping clarifying shampoo?

I went a bit overboard today and used the Loma Pearating Nourishing Hair Serum today straight on clean, rinsed hair. Not good. First ingredient is cyclomethicone. My wet hair just lost it. I had to re-shampoo and will likely need to clarify. I think the problem is my hair in that state is too porous and I used way too much. I have to use a leave in conditioner before I use the serum. Or if I just use a little on dry hair it works well.

Can anyone recommend a gentle non-stripping clarifying shampoo?

I have seen the Nexxus Aloe Rid recommended quite a few times. I believe Jillipoo and DEL2C both use it in "emergencies".

My favorite "I need to get the gunk out now" shampoo is Fekkai Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo. It is a bit pricey at $20.00 at Ulta, but used infrequently, a bottle can last nearly a year. It does have SLS, which is something I don't mind using once in a while but is worth mentioning in case you are avoiding SLS at all costs.
Thanks! I'll check out both.

I have super porous super dry hair and used 1 tb baking soda mixed into 2 cups of water to clarify (remove buildup). I poured it onto dirty hair and gently rubbed it in for about 1 minute. Then I cowashed it out with a low poo cleansing creme. My hair was squeaky clean and not stripped. I then followed with a deep condish for 1 hour.

I took a risk by doing the BSR on porous hair but I read that another porous curly uses it with good results. I didn't want to spend mucho bucks on a clarifying poo I'll only use every now and then. A good store bought one IMO is Avalon Organics Lemon & Shea Claryifying Shampoo ($8-10). works well without stripping.

Naked Naturals Citrus & Keratin is a good, gentle clarifying shampoo. Rite Aid oftentimes has good deals on this brand.
