Switching from winter to summer routine?

We are having wacky seasons right now and my hair is totally rebelling on me.

Winter products are too moisturizing, summer products aren't enough. Grrr! We're having lows in the 40s right now but high temps in the 80s! Dews have been pretty stable in the 40s, but with the drying heat still on in the house, I'm not sure what product combo to use. Anyone else having issues? Any tips for handling spring?

I'm also trying to find a balance. I've never had a problem with overconditiong the whole time I've been CG (little over a year), but I think I am now since the temps/dews have changed. I usually co-wash daily so now I'm going to try water washing and low-poo for a couple of days and then about the 3rd day do a co-wash and see how this works. I'm also going to use a spray leave-in as opposed to a thick/heavy/creamy one. Hopefully this will help. I don't usually use a curl cream, so I will continue to use my regular products and see how that goes.

I usually use a jelly or FSG and then a harder hold gel on top. I will update after I've done this for several days. HTH.

Since I don't want to purchase new leave-in's right now, I'm going to try diluting my regular LI's by atleast 50/50 with water and see how this works.

Yes - I'm having issues, too! I just wish the dews were consistent instead of 20 one day, 50 the next and back down to 20 - arrrrgghhh!
