Target: Shea Moisture, Curls, and Jane Carter
So, I am very excited that Target is now offering these lines since I have been wanting to try them.
One thing that is frustrating me is that they don't list the ingredients on the site and I couldn't find them in my store to check (I don't mind buying them online with free shipping and being able to return to the store). I haven't been able to find the ingredients online either with the exception of Jane Carter (since I think the Curls line varies from the online store).
So, has anyone tried the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Curl line? Is it CG?
Anyone tried the new Curls line for Target and how does it compare to the real deal?
Anyone with fine hair use Jane Carters Nourish and Shine?
TIA!

I have very fine hair, and I love Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine! It only takes a little bit, though.

I've tried some of the JC products (N&S and the spray gel) and like them. I like the smell (fruity & florally), but bees and gnats like it also, so I couldn't use it when I was outside for long periods.
I haven't tried the other products but the SheaM & JC websites say they'll be available on the 28th. (they list Laurel & Bowie in our area D_W). Miss Jessie's is also supposed to be available tomorrow in those stores. I'm curious if any wavies have tried them.
Hopefully after tomorrow the ingredients will be listed and the Target website will list which stores have them.

The only thing holding me back from the JC now is the $$$$...
I just wish Curls was following suit and offering at those locations too! I want to try their Target line so I'll probably just do an online order for now, but hopefully if I decide to purchased again they will have it at the same stores.
As for Miss Jessie's I know Gekko tried the Quick Curl stuff and liked it, but it has mineral oil in it so I don't think she uses it as much.

I was super excited to see that Curls updated their store list and there are a BUNCH in my area!
Mainly the one right by work, yay!
Shea Moisture and Jane Carter are carried there too.
I already ordered online (Curls & Shea Moisture), but that's okay (it was free shipping). I really hope they work because it would be awesome to just go to Target at lunch to get my hair stuff!

The Target store near me doesn't have ANY of these products....and when I stopped at Borders, the book I wanted was out of stock and Trader Joe's didn't have two items I normally get there...crappy day for finding things today!
Is shipping high from Target.com? I'll have to check.

When I ordered it was free shipping over $50, and I got 3 things from both Curls and Shea Moisture so it definitely qualified. I think they still have the free shipping going on, and they do it a lot. I only order from Target online if it's free shipping and I order maybe once a month (sometimes more). A lot of times they won't have my size (or my sons) in the store so online is a great way to go!

Thanks! I've never tried Curls or Miss Jessie's products, but I'm definitely curious. I have no clue what to order, though. My hair is type 3A and kind of dry.

Miss Jessie's products are out of my price range! I might try some Curls products, though...

I got the Coconut & Hibiscus: Curling Soufle, Hold & Shine Daily Moisture Spritz, and the Curl & Style Milk.
Having no information online and nothing to go by I figured I'd give them all a try. If I like them then I may try the shampoo and conditioner.
Yeah, for me too. I didn't even look at them for that reason!

For the Curls line? They have a LI (LavishMoisture) and rinse out (Coconut Curlada).

I originally went to Target to purchase Miss Jessie's but seeing $32.00 and $38.00 dollars in person for their products is different then seeing it online so I bought a set of Shea Moisture products. I haven't tried them yet but seeing that the products have a good thick consistency I have faith that they'll work. I really wanted Miss Jessie's. They should lower their prices for real.
Awhile back I tried Curls and I'd give it a 7.5. I'd try it again.

Yes, they have one. I think it is called Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Conditioner.

I went to Target this morning before work specifically to take pictures of the ingredients for SheaMoisture and Curls line so I could post them since they don't have them online. They didn't have any of the SheaMoisture hair line and no Curls anywhere to be found. This Target is listed, but I guess they haven't rearranged yet.
Anyway, once I get mine in the mail I will post them.

The Target nearest me sells, Miss Jessie's, CURLS, Jane Carter, and SheaMoisture. Surprisingly, Miss Jessie's products are the best sellers, even the products that cost $58! The ones that are left on the shelf are the Miss Jessie's shampoos, one Rapid Recovery, one Baby Buttercream, one Stretch Silkening Cream, one Quick Curls.
I wish the Target would sell Yes! to Carrots, etc. I really would like to try one of hair products.
