Question Sun-In Hair Lightner Spray

Is Sun-in spray really bad for hair?

Ingredients:
Water, Hydrogen Peroxide, Aloe (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (Matricaria), Calendula (Calendula Officinalis) Flower Extract, Linum Usitatissimum Seed Extract (Linseed), Hydroxyethyl Cetyldimonium Phosphate, Dimethicone PEG 7 Phosphate, Glycerin, Quaternium 80, Panthenol, Silk Amino Acid, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance, Benzoic Acid, Disodium EDTA

I would say yes - the second ingredient isn't good for hair. Sorry if you really wanted to use it.

I used to use Sun In before going CG. But yes, it's very drying and damaging.

Something I've been reading up on is honey. Apparently it can help to lighten hair (I've yet to try it) gradually.

i've heard that you can put lemon juice on your hair and go out into the sun. then it will lighten a bit

My current favorites: Suave naturals shampoo, Suave coconut, Organix argan and moroccan oil conditioner, GFTN, LALMG, FSG <3!!

Not a huge fan of CG :/

I used it once years ago and it was the "damage" that bothered me as much as the brassiness it caused - the most horrible, unnatural orangey yellow...and I have medium blond hair to begin with it would be worse on darker hair.

Omg yikes, don't use this stuff! I used to use it waaaay back in the day, and it's like spraying acid on your hair. Made my hair SO dry and damaged. It's basically a leave-in bleach.
