Default Cyclomethicone washed out with low-poo?

Can Cyclomethicone be washed out with a low-poo?

It can be removed with a lowpoo, but it depends on which surfactant is in your lowpoo.

Check out this link: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlre...p-on-silicones

If your lowpoo has one of the surfactants listed, you're good to go!

Ok. I use Elucence Benefits low-poo and it has cocamidopropyl betaine in it. Thanks!

cyclomethicone evaporates off the hair, but the process of evaporating may cause the cuticle to buckle. See this curl chemist article.

Yes, I've found my low poo - Avalon Organics Olive and Grapeseed - to work well in removing Cyclomethicone. I've been curious to try the Curls Rock Curl Amplifier since it only has Cyclomethicone. I found a great BOGO deal on the Amplifier so I tried it out and had no problems with build-up or removal of this cone when I lowpoo'ed it out. HTH!
