Really long air drying time with FSG?

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. I just received a bottle of BB's FSG yesterday morning, and I decided to let my hair air dry because I was in a bit of a hurry. I scrunched it in (only product), supersoaked, and then scrunched out water with my Curls Like Us towel for about 2 minutes. Six hours later, my hair was still not dry. I scrunched in some more water (not a lot, between 2-3 palmfuls) and diffused 75%. Three hours after that, my hair still had not dried. My hair is shoulder length when curly and usually only takes 3 hours to air dry with KCCC, 2.5 hours with anything else, and 1 hour after diffusing! I really loved the curls I did get, which were soft, shiny, and well defined, but I hate walking out of my apartment with wet hair! I've used products with all of my add-ins (mag sulfate, agave nectar, aloe vera, hemp seed oil, sea emollient, and honeyquat) before without any issues. Any tips/commiseration?
2a/3a. Very fine. Porous.
No Poo/Low Poo: CJ Daily Fix, Mop Top Gentle Clarifying Shampoo
Conditioner: SS Caitlin's Conditioner, SS Deeply Decadent, SS Repairing Protein Treatment
Stylers: SS CEJ, SS FHG, KCCC

I use BB's FSG and either put it in right while in the shower or after I've had my hair up in a towel(just to blot off the water). It may add a little drying time but not much(for me). Maybe it's how much you apply?
very fine 2a/3a, normal porosity & elasticity, finally going full CG!
currently using: nbd F&S Therapy,Curl Magic, Chamomile Seaweed gel, Curl Magic cleansing conditioner, and Restoration Hair Repair.
have you tried the spritz and condition method-- seems to cut drying time for me.. yeh fsg makes my hair take ages to dry too

FSG makes my hair take forever to dry, too, but putting LALSG over it seems to help with that, in addition to giving hold.
2c/3a with 2b underlayer. Fine, porous. Loves protein. But not hydrolized wheat protein. Yuck.

Wash: WEN Sweet Almond Mint or Pomegranate
Gels: LA Looks Sport Gel
Mousse: Tigi Catwalk Curlesque
Curling creams/gellies: Coffee Coco Curling Cream Lite, Spiral Solutions Curl Enhancing Jelly, Curls Gel-les'c

I have been trying SS Curl Enhancing Jelly lately, and am loving it! It gives me more curl and volume. But for clumps, nothing beats FSG!

JC Nourish & Shine rocks!

i just put 4 table spoons of acv in 5 cups of water in a water bottle by my shower and whenever i feel the need.. maybe once every few weeks, i dump it over my head after co washing. I think i will add honey to my new stuff see if that makes any difference. It really smooths my hair and makes it almost silky.. which is very rare for my hair.. it almost always feels coarse because of how much hair i have.
