Default Does anyone else prefer the bath over the shower?

I like to relax in the bath, and I also wash my hair in the bath. The suds in the bath from the previous conditioners wouldn't ruin my hair if my hair touched the suds after using all the conditioners right? (Am I making sense?) lol

I enjoy baths as well. I actually do a combination bath/shower. If I'm using a low poo that day I wash my hair first before pulling up the plug. Then after I've washed it out I put loads of conditioner on and fill up the tub. I love to just soak and shave my legs while my hair marinates in conditioner. My mom used to get so mad because I'm known to take 1-2 hour baths

I love baths and I have washed my hair in the tub, but I find that my hair doesn't get as clean as when I shower. It could be residue in the tub, or residue form the bath additives (bubble bath, salts, oils, etc). Since going curlier, I haven't been washing in the bath as often, but rather just using the bath for the bath...to relax and bathe and shave as needed.

Same here. Not a good feeling after washing my hair in the bath. I enjoyed bathes here I just do finish washing my hair in the shower.

I don't prefer baths over showers for everyday, but I love baths to relax, and take a bath, instead of a shower, probably once a week. I just make sure that cleansing my hair is the absolute first thing I do when I get in, and I let my conditioner soak in for the remainder of the bath. When I'm ready to get out, I pull the plug and let some of the water drain, then I turn the faucet on and rinse my hair with the clean faucet water. Doing it this way makes sure that my hair never comes into contact with bubbles or soap.

Well since we have no shower in our house, I prefer baths but I don't wash my hair in the tub. It's just too hard to get it totally rinsed without straining my neck to get it under the faucet.
I always wash my hair upside down in the kitchen sink.
We have a high faucet there and it's way easier to bend over there then crunched over in the tub.
I usually wash my hair in the mornings and bathe at night before bed, though if I know I'm going to have an early morning or be rushed to get out the door, I have washed my hair at night. Just wish my morning hair looked better on those times. I have been considering getting some sort of hair net to try and see if it helps hold the curl in.

In general, no. The only times I take a bath is when I'm all knotted up and need to relax some muscles and I have to shower before filling the tub up. I don't like the voice in my head that says that I'm stewing in my own filth (not that I'm dirty, but just the grime from every day stuff...ya know?). On the off chance that I do take a bath, it is heaven, but only if I showered beforehand. And I have experienced the same as some of the others with washing my hair while in the tub...it always seems to have a film on it and it gets greasy faster and it just never feels clean.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

I do. I haven't taken a shower in nearly 4 years.
