Save your hair conditioner - anyone tried?

I found it today at The Vitamin Shoppe and liked the list of ingredients. I did a search and saw that Dominicana bought it to try but never found anything else about it. If anyone has tried this please let me know what you thought of it.

Here's the ingredients:
save your hair conditioner: Ingredients from packaging: INFUSION OF CHAMOMILE FLOWERS, BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, CETYL ALCOHOL, AVOCADO OIL, MANGO BUTTER, COCONUT OIL, ORGANIC ALOE VERA EXTRACT, ORGANIC YERBA MATÉ EXTRACT, VEGETABLE EMULSIFYING WAX, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DELTA GLUCONOLACTONE, CALCIUM GLUCOMATE, SORBIC ACID AND A BLEND OF PURE NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS.

sorry about the caps but I just cut and pasted.

Never tried it - heck, never heard of it - but it looks awesome to me. :-) (that wax gives me a little pause, but you never know)

yeah that caught my eye too. But I bought a bottle and I'll try it out tomorrow. I bought the citrus version and it smells really nice. Citrus-y but not overpowering. It's very thick too. I put a little bit on the back of my hand and it soaked into my skin with no greasy after feel. I'm actually looking forward to trying it. I love that BTMS is the second ingredient and it has no cetrimonium chloride in it. I suspect that stuff is making me frizz a little.

hi Tinah!

I think I did a review maybe in the review board. I'll go look for it.

I ended up using it as a DT or when doing S&C on low-poo days. Whenever I used it as a rinse-out or a leavin, my hair would poof something crazy and it wouldn't get better until I low-pooed. I would lose all definition. Don't know why, the ingredients are so yummy.
Hope it works better for you!

D

ETA: link with my review, basically says the same thing.

My local Grocery Outlet has that poos and condishes really cheap over there right now. Of course the other day when I saw them I had to sniff them all!

Thanks for the link Dominicana! That stinks that it didn't work out for you and the other person! Since I've already bought it I'll give it a try. I'm bummed that you said it doesn't have any slip too. The ingredients look so nice too. I was gonna try it tonight before I go out bu maybe i'll wait till tomorrow just in case I end up with the same results as you. Don't need my hair all frizzy and fly away on the one night a week that I actually get to go out! I'll post back tomorrow sometime with my results on it. If anyone else has tried it let me know how it worked for you too. The more opinions - the better!
