Default Swimmers - Protecting Hair from Chlorine

Hey everyone, I want to start my swimming workout again this spring, and was wondering if anyone has tips for protecting hair from chlorine. Specifically, are there any ingredients in products that can coat hair to protect it or anything like that? I'll be swimming laps, so I will already be wearing a cap, but any additional advice would be great. Thanks!

I bought, and used for the first time today, Aubrey Organics Swimmers Shampoo. It's sulfate free and reminds me of the Burt's Bees shampoos. I didn't like how my hair felt after, but I followed up with AOHSR conditioner and I'm having a great hair day.

I like to use, but not all at once:
Wash: V05 Tea Therapy or CJ Daily Fix
Condition: CJ Curl Rehab (apply as needed, not daily)
Style: CCCC Lite, CIAB, and BRHG. KCCC is my #1 product

When I go swimming I usually soak my hair in the shower first, then put on condish and then the cap. Usually when I'm finished and I take off the cap I can still feel the co on my hair so I know it's not taken on the chlorine too much. (also a lap swimmer)

+1. Get a thick condish and load up! I used AOHR once and it worked well. I've never tried the swimmers line but its something I def wanna check out. I'm also going to start using CJDF after swim workouts to see if it helps remove the chlorination deposits that sometimes (or over time) makes my hair feel a little "gritty".

Do you wash your hair with shampoo everyday? That is my question. I am starting to swim again as well and I only used shmapoo once a week. What do you do??
