Just got SMU mousse & body envy-questions....

Went shopping today and came home with the two mousses. The set me up one and the body envy.
Now... how to use them?? I liked the gel at first but then my hair got coated and got stringy on me.
Does the body envy have any hold at all? I need a bit of hold in my products, should I use a gel or maybe the set me up mousse underneath the body envy or body envy by itself or a gel or what??
Thanks for any help on this one.

Funny, I bought the Body Envy mousse today. I will be trying it probably tomorrow, and will report back. The Body Envy gel has a lot of hold, so I'm hoping the mousse will to. I'll try it over my regular combo of leave-in and recoil.

I Love the Body Envy...smells really nectariney! It actually has a decent amount of hold, and can get crunchy if you use to much, but I just scrunch out the crunch when it is almost dry.

oh good. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow morning. Anyone try the SMU mousse? Is it any different from the gel?

I used my Body Envy mousse this morning. So far, I'm having a decent hair day. I didn't like how it distributed, but I think that's just b/c I'm used to joiwhip, which is very creamy. This mousse is more like other mousses I've used, where it disappears very quickly when you squish it. I used a bit more than I use of joiwhip (because it kept disappearing and I find I need more of the HE stylers in general). I'd say I probably put about 2 squirts the size of a softball into wet hair, then I scrunched with a paper towel, and scrunched in a small squirt the size of a golf ball into the ends. It smells really nice, and the HE Body Envy scent is definitely my favorite out of all their lines. I used it over GF Curl& shine and recoil. I have more volume than usual, which is really great. The crunch was fairly easy to scrunch out, and the hold is decent so far, but nothing like the Body Envy gel. I have some very nice ringlets around my face, but overall a bit less definition and clumping than with BE gel or joiwhip mousse. I also had a bit more frizz than usual, so I smoothed in some SIF. This mousse has promise, but not HG potential so far. I will probably use it up on days when I'm willing to sacrifice some definition for the extra volume.

I used the body envy this morning and yes, I agree - it does disappear very quickly once squeezed into the hands. BUT, I don't have good luck with the real creamy ones.
I put a small dab into my hair and then plopped for 15 min. It looked real curly and bouncy when I took the towel off. I diffused dry and sprayed on some of my scrunch spray and diffused more.
It is now mid afternoon and it still looks good. Bouncy, shiney ringlets with decent hold. It's windy outside too!
I'll see how it looks second day. I usually don't like to start over and wash til 3rd or 4th day. No frizz at all today.
The real test will be tomorrow am.... Will post again.

UPDATE: Ended up not working for me. Second day hair was horrible. Stringy and NO curls at all.
Went back to using my gel.

Unfortunately, the BE mousse didn't work for me. My hair kept getting bigger and frizzier as the day went on. I was expecting it to have decent hold since the BE gel has a strong hold, but it wimped out on me by the end of the workday.
