Default Jane Carter Solution

I hardly ever hear her products mentioned on here. I received a sample of her ultra light nourishing cream and can I just say

WOW

i only use a teeny amount ( i dab my finger into it and spread that round my hands twice). i use it just after blowdrying on my 80% dry hair, and it gives great shine, stops any frizz, makes my hair very light and bouncy and soft and has given me some of the best hair days! the same was tiny so i thought it wouldnt last long but its still over half full and i love it!

has anyone else used her stuff and liked/ disliked it?

the website i buy from in the UK has run out of her ultra nourishing cream and wont get any till january i feel like ive found my first HG that i cant live without!

I agree, Jane Carter Solution products are wonderful! All of the products are made with quality ingredients. When ever my hair feels slightly dry, I pull out the Nourish & Shine and rub on the ends and they instantly feel better. The Conditioner & Shampoo are wonderful as well. I'm not really sure why there's not more of a buzz on her products here on NC.

Oh dang it don't make me buy something new! If that's available only in europe or the uk that might be why you don't hear us talk about it much

ETA: oops I just saw it on curlmart. Well I have no clue why no one is talking about it, now you know we'll all have to try it!

See usually cream stylers are too rich for my hair and make it go puffy but this ultra light nourishing cream is just to die for! ive never applied it to wet hair, but raked and scrunched through my hair lightly after blowdrying and it really does make a difference. i swear its this stuff that has given me consistent good hair days three washes in a row. it makes the curls very big and bounchy and light.

unfortunately the one product i'm talking about is $20 her other stuff is much cheaper so i'm not sure why this one product is so expensive. and the store i buy it from online in the UK has sold out to mid-way through NEXT YEAR! i dont think this sample will last me THAT long. so i may have to make a curlmart order and order some of this stuff. it really is my first HG.

its a very subtle diference but a note-worthy one. rather than having nice curls that are shiney and soft it gives me SUPER shiney curls that are soft, bouncy, touchable, and seem really really healthy!

christmas present perhaps?!

Yeah I was just thinking maybe merry xmas to ME
I bet it's expensive since it's real concentrated and it would last a long time.
Did you take pics of it in your hair? Boy I bet you're glad to have shiny without honey eh?

oh ew so sorry to hear about the flu. I hope you're better soon

Your hair looks lovely in those pics to me!Funny you get no crunch from Arc and I get plenty of it. I wonder if it's the curl balm that makes a difference. I usually have either nothing under it or just a tiny bit of leave in.
Did it stand up to second day hair? Your hair was sure shiny and curly on the first day

I'm the same way, my hair is very fine and I have to be careful not to use products that aren't too rich/heavy. I have purchased JC products through her website, Curl Mart and Whole Foods here in the US. You may want to check out her website to see if they ship abroad http://janecartersolutions.com. It's a nice website as well!

Hmmm. Wish I'd tried that. I've only used her Condition 'n Sculpt lotion; basically it's her gel. Very watery, very strong (but nice) herbal smell. But just very little hold, less than a leave in cond gives.

i just remembered mariposa import! i forgot all about that site! i think i'll HAVE to ask my mum for some of the jane carter stuff for my christmas and ask her to order off that site. postage is expensive but it is christmas and hopefully the site in the UK will start to sell it again when the tub i get runs out. mariposa also sells the curl junkie, so once i've tried my banana and hibicus leave in and worked out if i like it, i could ask for some of that too

oh and its now the second day with the photos from y'day. my hair is a bit frizzy and poofy BUT the curl pattern has stayed. the arc angell doesnt have as much hold as i'd like so maybe i should just try using more? i used two pumps of SIF on second day hair and that seems to have done the trick for excess frizz but my hair certainley isnt frizz free.

I wanted to bump this up... after visiting her site I really want to try this line. It seems reasonably priced and has lovely ingredients. I also love that they are trying to produce an environmentally conscious product. I'd love to hear some more people's experiences if they are out there. I think I might make a run to Whole Foods tomorrow and see what they've got.

Dang it all I accidentally got the heavier version of what JennyFurrens uses!
I have to be super super careful how much I use. I bet dryer or thicker hair would suit this perfectly. It smells so good!
I'm tempted to see if anyone wants it on swap so I can get the light version.
It's great on frizz and boy it leaves my hair so shiny! I like the smell so much I rubbed some on my neck so I'd be sure to smell it all day

Awh medusa that's so sweet that you rubbed in on your neck for the smell! It does smell great Even with the lighter version I have to use only a tiny amount. If the richer version is working for you, why not keep it? Or has it weighed your hair down? Are you using it as a styler or wet hair or to scrunch into dry hair? I only use it as the latter - after diffusing, to get out the crunch, and it works great!

I use it as a finisher after styling. I think I'm getting the amount down now. The problem is we're super humid here and if I'm not careful it will suck up the moisture in the air and make me look like I have an oily hair.
I did real well today though. They said it can be used on the rest of the body too so I used it on my hands. My dogs keep trying to eat it! Goofs
While I wish I had gotten the light version I'm not willing to give it up so far
Boy it scrunches out the crunch really well and keeps my ends in shape

I'm really glad you like it, even if its the richer version. It has such simple ingredients and it does really give me great shine and get rid of crunch without getting rid of curl shape. Do I have a convert?

And I think the tub may last me about half a year!
