Default Sacred Love Question . . .

I got in my order from CurlMart a couple of days ago and I've been playing around with some of the different products. Today I was going to try the Sacred Love Low Poo and OneC, but I put a little on my fingers and it seems like it has a LOT of color! My hair is naturally brown with a little bit of gold, and I get red highlights every 6-7 weeks. Will the Sacred Love products put a lot of red on my hair? Will I be able to get it out with a sulfate shampoo? I'm having my highlights redone on Friday so I don't want to make a mess!

Thanks!

Laura

I use Sacred Love, and it doesn't change the color of my hair at all that I've noticed. (My hair is a lot lighter than it looks in my avatar pic.) I don't color my hair, though, so I don't know if it would affect your highlights.

I went through a couple of bottles of it about a year ago (had no-poo, low-poo and One C) and I guess the reason I switched back to the regular versions is because I couldn't tell any difference in the color. I didn't think they were worth the extra because I was hoping for more visible results.

Did any of you notice it staining anything? I'd like to try the Brown OneC, but I'm worried about it staining my hands and bathtub.

I don't remember any staining. I think the times when I spilled some on the tub or wherever, I was able to just wipe it off with a sponge.

Thanks for the advice! I'm really tempted to try it a few days before I go in since my original highlights have faded A LOT and I wouldn't mind a little bit more uniformity right now.

Nope. No staining on my fingers or in the tub.

I tried it this morning--I didn't notice much difference, if any. I think it may have evened out the tones between my faded highlights and my natural color a bit, but it's hard to say. No staining anywhere, and I used it in a bath.

BTW, does OneC always smell so bad? Or is it just the red?

I've used the brown and blonde versions in the past and, truthfully, I couldn't see any difference in my color at all. I also didn't have any problems with staining. I really don't think these products are worth the money though.

I don't get any staining from the Chocolate lust. I don't see any difference though in color so I don't use it anymore.

I used to use the Chocolate Lust and it helped even out my highlights a bit. I found the NoPoo to be more darkening than the Condish. Also, as far as staining, couple of times I saw some dark splotches on my shower curtain, but they rinsed off pretty easily.

I have the same question, but about the DevaBrown OneC. I thought it was supposed to smell just like the DevaCurl version, but this stuff smells horrible! I'm wondering if it's supposed to smell this way or if I got a bad one?
