getting wax out...

So I picked up a product that has Emulsifying Wax NF as the third ingredient....should I avoid this if I don't want to use sulfates?

I had typed out the entire ingredient list, hit post and the darn thing went into web la la land....UGH.....

I believe that it's not actually a wax and you don't have to worry about it.

I think I read somewhere that, its an ingredient used to help thicken the consistency. I don't think its problematic.

It's a combination of combination of cetearyl alcohol (fatty alcohol) and polysorbate 60 (emulsifier that keeps ingreds blended). Some ingred lists list it as "cetearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60" so that the misleading word "wax" isn't used. It's the "NF" that's apparently the important part.
