Default Do Deva Cuts or products make hair more curly?

I am aiming for looser curls and waves.

I don't find the products to be curl enhancing, they just are water soluble for those that want to do CG.

I get a deva cut from a curl consultant and I would say that my hair just has a better shape from it. It stays in good shape for longer and that means I can go longer times in between cuts.

I don't find (at least with my hair) any of the Deva products that I have ever used to be big in the "curl enhancing" department, but instead they actually pull out more curls and make them look looser and less defined.
