Default styling products - aveda be curly and....

Ok. My new stylist put in my hair tonight... Aveda Be curly and then sap moss styling spray. She likes using deva products too but didn't have any on hand.
She likes using SIF on soaking wet hair. I have SIF and I have a sample of Arc Angell. I haven't tried the Arc Angell yet.
If I wanted to go with the Aveda products - I'd have to go buy them. And we all know they're not cheap.
She said that my hair would do good with a leave in like aveda be curly first.
My hair is wheat protein sensitve and I think that's in the be curly isn't it?
Sooo, would I spray in the SIF first and then maybe put in the arc angell??
Are there any of you who use aveda be curly and like it?

i used to use be curly, and i liked it, but the protein and cones did build up for me in the long run.

i think you'll really like sif though! i'd do arc angell on wet hair and then scrunch the cast with sif. you can play around though and see what works for you. it's been a while since i've used deva products - i'm sure some others will come along with advice.

you can do a search, too. there were a few good threads on sif and how people were using it a while back.

oh ack! The be curly has cones too!? Water soluble or not?
Those are two strikes against me - my hair doesn't like wheat proten or cones!

Try the SIF and Arc Angell, then. Use plenty of Arc Angell, it didn't work for me otherwise.

I spent a small fortune on the sap moss conditioner, shampoo, treatment.
Confixor and be curly.

They did nothing for my hair and dried it out unbelievably.

aw, thats too bad about your lost fortune!

I've been using the aveda be curly & confixor, mixing them in my hands together first, then putting it in my hair. its been good for about 7-8 months so far (when I started this routine), but now the weather here has gone very cold and it hasn't been cooperating in the past week!! Time for a switch until next spring I think..!

Devacurl Set It Free, which is a spray with a bit of hold, meant to go over your styling product.

SIF doesn't do anything for me on dry hair. I applied it on wet hair after my gel.

Default not much for me

Aveda's Be Curly didn't do much for my hair when I tried it two years ago. The consistency was similar to Marc Anthony's Curl Defining Lotion but I think that hydrolized wheat protein doesn't do much for me.

I lurk a lot, I change my hair color a lot. It's currently black and bsl when wet and beyond my shoulders still when dry.

Now I will stop procrastinating and get back to what I was supposed to be doing before I got on here.

Any questions?
