HELP! Oil fragrance question

I would love to start using a little oil on the end of my hair to protect them and help my hair grow, and while the rosemary oil I bought made my hair look and feel great, I found I'm allergic to the scent. (Actually, most perfumes give me asthma.) Are there any oils which don't have such a strong scent that I could try?

Thanks, thanks!

You could try jojoba oil. It doesn't have much scent. My dogs can smell it but once I put it on my hair I don't know it's there.

thank you!

Perfect! I will. Can I ask a few more questions? Is the way you use it just to dab a bit in your hands, rub, and then stroke your hair? Do you massage into your scalp or just on the ends? And will it remove color? Thank you so, so much.

Pure rosemary oil does have a very strong aroma to it, which I have personally smelled myself so I certainly know what you are talking about. Here's a list of other suitable oils that are highly moisturizing that you could use instead that actually won't hurt your nose: sweet almond oil & coconut oil. I also second you trying jojoba oil as well. You can just apply it to your scalp, by taking a little bowl and pouring at least 3 drops into it. And then apply the oil to your scalp section by section. Now, what ever is left in the bowl after you have finished doing your scalp is what you would apply to the ends of your hair, if your ends are dry too. You can definitely adjust the amount of drops of oil that you use, depending on your hair's thickness.

Hope this helps you out, Curlycaroline!

The jojoba oil did it! It didn't have a scent so no asthma, and my hair feels and looks great! I thank you so, so, so, so much!
