Kinky Goes Commercial

Take Notice: Natural women are everywhere! On the job, at church, at your kid's school and even in ads for Fortune 500 companies!

Take a look at the attached link to a Verizon Wireless ad. This is one of the few ads with natural women who do not have loose spiral curls but rather afro-kinky/4b texture. Warms my heart.

The "green sweater" woman from that page is on a big billboard on my way home from work...I did not understand the ad campaign but WOW her hair is gorgeous.

Yes I have been seeing more natural hair on female models in ads lately, being portrayed as beautiful or normal, not just quirky or alternative.

Thank you for posting this.

Come to think of it, I have been seeing more natural 4b hair out and about. I always have to fight the urge to give 'em a huge grin and a thumbs up, lol. That's a little disconcerting when a perfect stranger does that!
