Default Where do you buy MOP Curl Defining Cream? Can't find on ground.

Beauty Brands has discontinued. Ulta, too apparently.

So. Where do you buy MOP Curl Defining Cream? Anywhere on the ground or do you buy just online?

I appreciate you sharing!!

I noticed this too. You might try TJ Maxx or Ross since it's discontinued.

Is it actually a discontinued product - as in, MOP is not going to make it anymore? I'll be pissed if so! Or is it just discontinued in stores like Ulta? (That's what Ulta told me, but they stopped carrying all the c-system (curl and straight) stuff at my local Ulta; they only carry like 4 MOP c-system products now.

If you have any local, privately owned/run beauty supply stores in your area, check if they carry it. Not a chain like Sally's, but a private store. That's how I get mine; I found a store the next town over that carries all kinds of lines, mainstream and obscure ones. He's pricier on some stuff, but well stocked at least.

If anyone knows if the curl defining cream (in the orange tube) is actually discontinued, please post it here. I'll need to stock up!!

Well, I could not get the MOP website "contact us" form to open on my MAC or my PC. Instead I found what I thought was their UK site and I asked if it was being discontinued. I am having a rough enough time finding products that work for me let alone liking one and having it change formula or go away!

I asked:
The MOP C Curl Defining Cream is no longer being carried at my Ulta nor my Beauty Brands in the U.S.
Is that a choice by these retailers or is this product being discontinued?

Here was my kind response:
Dear Karen

Thank you for your email.

We are an independent online retailer selling MOP products and we get our products from our supplier in the UK.

The C-System C-Curl Defining Cream has not been discontinued, so I can only speculate this is a choice made by your local retailers not to stock this particular product.

Best Regards
Victoria Burden - Customer Services

I ordered one online through sleekhair. It has shipped and it should be to me in the next couple of days. I am eager to try it and hope that I like it!!

Oh good!
If you haven't used it before, it can weigh down your hair if you put too much. Its kind of gluey. Just make sure you scrunch it into soping wet hair! I use a small amount, distribute it well, and then scrunch in a medium hold (water soluble) gel over it. I get really nice curls, no frizz.

I have a love/hate relationship with this cream

I have used it and had FANTASTIC curls. I have also used it and had barely waves, though no frizz. I am thinking that my hair reacts to the oils in it. I have pretty fine hair so I am thinking it may weigh it down depending on other procucts used and weather. I only use a pea size...Trying to find the magic combination when it does work, because when it does, my hair looks great!

Update on the MOP C-Sysstem Curl Defining Cream. My local guy who carried it has been out of stock and was telling me he thinks its discontinued, but he admits he does not know for sure. He says he will try to find out. I have not really been able to find it except for Ebay. I won't order on here because of the security problems. I've had my credit card info stolen before and just won't risk it. At least on Ebay, Paypal purchases are secure.

If anyone has any advice on hw to get it, that'd be great!

I bought mine on Amazon about a month ago. I also won't order from CurlMart any more since my credit card info was stolen.

Does anybody have the definitive answer about this being discontinued? I bought the conditioner by mistake. I'm going to give it a go. But I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It still seems to be available in Europe. I found a site that offers free shipping world wide. I can't speak for the site, however, I've never ordered from there.

I can't seem to find it anywhere online! If it's not discontinued then no one seems to be carrying it anymore. Does anyone know of a good alternative?

My local guy was still carrying it as of a month ago. I've been phasing it out of my routine because my homemade FSG has actually been working as well as, if not better than, the MOP!
But I like to keep a tube on hand, just in case. I am out and keep meaning to go over buy one or two, but it's expensive and funds are low for me (I'm not working at the moment - laid off again, sigh). I should get over there within the next week and I'll see if the local guy still has it and if he has any info on the supplier and if there's a supply issue.

EDIT: alot of online stores seem to be "out of stock." I found one, feelunique.com that seems to still have it. There may be a supply issue at that. I really hope its not a discontinued issue.

I'm loving my FSG though Cheap, and I get wonderful results, lots of complements! And did I mention how much cheaper??? LOL

Thank you ladies; I happen to have been searching at this very moment for it myself and was having trouble! The only place I found it still in stock is at feelunique.com; but it is very odd, if I go there and type it in the search bar, it will not come up, but if I follow the link above (FrizzBGone's post ) then it finds it!!! Yeah!

I sure will! I was nervous too but I saw they took PayPal and for some reason I feel pretty secure paying through PayPal; I have (knock on wood) never had any problems with them, so I paid via PP. Hopefully it won't take forever to get to me since it's overseas
