No Jessicurl for me. :(

UPDATE: My Jessicurl package finally arrived today! Yay!

I just placed a $50 order at Jessicurl last week – a liter of Too Shea!, and 8 oz. of HCC. I'm out of my Too Shea! and the Aloeba I have isn't nearly moisturizing enough, so my hair's been a big old mess.

I checked the tracking number today, since I placed my order last week. According to the Postal Service the package was delivered on Saturday. Only... I don't have it.

My condo building has had problems with people stealing packages (someone even stole a decoration right off my door, and now I'm afraid to hang my Christmas wreath!

), so I'm afraid that my package got stolen and that I'm out $50.

Which would SUCK. A lot.

I got some Garnier Fructis Curl and Shine conditioner to hold me over until I either find my Jessicurl package or figure something out. Unfortunately I can't afford to place another $50 order right now.

I doubt it. People here don't really hang onto your packages unless you ask them to. More likely the Postal Service screwed up or someone stole it.

Oh man that is my nightmare. I keep thinking I need one of those lock boxes they can put large packages in. I guess in a condo that's out of the question though? You'd have to bold it to the floor and hope no one picks the lock. Man what a pain!

That sucks! Next time, maybe you can pay extra to have YOUR signature required, or at least a neighbor you can trace.

I think I'm just going to start having things shipped to my mother-in-law and picking them up there. I'm never home during the day when the mail comes.

Oh my gosh, that sucks! How can people be so mean?? I'd definitely have packages shipped elsewhere in the future.

Did you actually talk to the post office? Maybe they are behind because of the holiday season and the info was wrong.

gak! I can feel your pain! I just placed close to a hundred dollars worth of hair stuff here and having this happen would be my worst nightmare! I can't believe how low some people would stoop! I just don't get why they don't put it back once they opened your package? I mean come on who's gonna use a bunch of girly curly stuff...unless of course, life is mean and your thief would have curly hair!

Was the package insured. Contact Jessicurl and tell them you haven't received your package. You may have some recourse.

I e-mailed their Tracking dept.; I'm waiting for a response. The 1-800 number they provided gave me a recording that said they couldn't help me.

I don't think it was insured... but once I hear back from the PO I'm going to contact Jessicurl Cust. Service and let them know.

Why don't you have packages shipped to your office? I do that with anything of value. My condo's mail is generally safe, but I know it will reach me at the office.

OOH that's a big ol' bummer! I just placed an order for the sample bottles of her rich products and I can't wait to get them. I think I'd freak if I thought someone stole it. Luckily we don't have that problem, but then again we don't live in a condo/apartment either. Hope you find out it's still around somewhere!

Don't know about USPS but I had a package delivered by UPS to the wrong house. I e-mailed Jessicurl's CS and Matt (I think) e-mailed me back less than 30 minutes later and within minutes UPS called. Turns out, the UPS person delivered my package next door and I didn't recognize the last name on the signature(I knew their first names only). Anyhow, Jessicurl (company and person) is really great at following through with it's packages so contact them!

I e-mailed Jessicurl Customer Service last night and gave them a rundown of the situation. I got an e-mail from Dave at Jessicurl this morning asking me to keep them posted on my situation with the USPS (who are currently investigating it).

I've always found the people at Jessicurl to be helpful and friendly, especially Jess. So I'm not worried about this from their end, and it certainly won't discourage me from ordering from Jessicurl again.

That is really crummy. I only have things shipped to my office for this very reason. Unfortunately, there are some serious thieves out there that don't give a crap about anyone. Hopefully it's just misplaced and you can get your goodies soon.
