Tentative hair stylist rec in Chicago N. Suburbs

I only saw her once so I'm not ready to commit but if anyone is really looking, I would recommend trying Abby at Gordon in downtown Highland Park. She was actually able to remove the bulk around my head and I may have something now approaching a shape.

I will put something more permanent in the salon section but I'll wait until this grows out some more and I see her a second time.

Just thought I'd pass that on in case someone really needs help with the holidays on us and all.
3B, I think w/very thick hair, shoulder length. Fall hair: Low Poo, TS, CK, Aloeba leave in, recoil or RR, plop, BRHG or SMU, no blow dry.

Lisa -

3B can braid to relax into 2b or diffuse into 3A. I confess I have 3C envy :-) Chin length weighed down by product - using Pureology Hydrate condish, home made brews and on occasion Redken Fresh Curls
I think I'm a 3B mostly. My biggest problem is just huge volume and I've never found anyone before who could shape it.

I spent a whole evening reading the reviews for almost every salon in Illinois. There just aren't enough up there.
