The DVD plays on a regular dvd as well as on a computer - at least in the US.

Amazon: $10.04
Barnes & Noble: $10.04
Borders: $13.95

I ordered it from Amazon a little while ago, had some other stuff to get anyway. With the hair trimming tips and the DVD I think it's worth the $10. If you have a local Barnes & Noble you can see if it's at your store and do a reserve & pickup there. Although I see for this particular book the option isn't there...hrmmm.

Like KM, I wasn't sure I wanted this book, but it does seem better than the last one. I just called my local Borders because I have a 1/2 off coupon (today only) but they are on order, on the way, won't get them til Tuesday. waaah! I figured 1/2 off would be nice. Oh well. I'll be patient, next time!

Mine came in the mail today! But I'm forcing myself not to even glance at it til I have a good chunk of time to read it all and watch the dvd. I really liked the first book so I'm sure I'll enjoy this one too.
Who knew that people would get so excited to read a book about curly hair. : )

Sorry, probably me causing confusion - I'm in Australia so US dvds don't play here.

SO doesn't think it'll play on the computer. Bum.

Fractal - love it! Will definitely buy or borrow the book.

For those who have the new book - how does she do on naturally coily/kinky hair? I wasn't impressed with her chapter in the original book although her general advice for curlies worked for me.

Cala Renee told me she is hosting a book tour appearance for Lorraine either at her salon in Beverly or a larger place close by - save the date! 2/7/11 12:30 -2:30pm
I second this question. I don't need to be told to texturize again...

Bought it at Barnes and Noble today! I'm attending the book signing and demo with Lorraine Massey at Cala Renee in February, so I wanted to be prepared with the new book & DVD

I'm so ridiculously excited can not WAIT to dig in! She's expanded her wavy section which is great since more then 65% of our population has wavy hair!

I'm planning on it. Got my invite. I bought the book yesterday. It's good! Much better than the first.

I just got a 33% off coupon, I'll have to see if it's in yet. They said later in the week.
