Default Curls products?

I just got spiral curls cream, milkshake, Asian hair tea conditioner, and souffle in the mail. How is the best way to use these?

Is milkshake a leave in conditioner or styler? Do you use milkshake with souffle or spiral curls cream?

Any advice on how to use these products would be great!!
Thanks

I guess it would depend on what you want, and how easily your hair gets weighed down. Do you want soft waves/curls, or defined curls with more hold?

The Milkshalke can be used as a leave in and a refresher/moisturizer. It actually can pull some of the curl out, so if your hair is more on the wavy side, you may want to use less of this.

My hair is tighter than yours, but I use the milkshake as a leave in, and the whipped cream(which is a heavier version of the souffle) as my styler/moisturizer. I get really defined curls, with a flexible(natural) hold. If I want more hold, and alittle more length, I use the milkshake and spiral curls cream. The cream gives moderate hold, but isn't crunchy.

The conditioner can be used daily, but when I use it, I use it as a weekly dt. Some people can use is as a leave in, but when I do, my hair freaks out(gets mad frizzy).

I think it's the other way around - the Souffle is the lighter version of the Whipped Cream. Twenty smacks with the Curly Q Custard for me if I'm wrong (LOVE that scent as well as all the Curls scents )!

cgsamco - did you just get the Spiral Curl Cream from the Curls site? I was told they were out of stock and would get some the Friday before Thanksgiving. Here it is almost Christmas and the site is still showing Out of Stock ! I just wrote them again to find out.

Oops. That's what I meant to say.

Lavendercurls-I got the spiral curls cream from curlicious.com. There was free shipping over $75 so I just got it all there

eccentric_kurlz- I don't think my hair gets weighed down very easily. I would like to pull some of the curl out. I want soft curls/waves. I don't like anything that makes my hair crunchy. I prefer the natural look

So the milkshake is a leave in, not a syling cream?

The milkshake, spiral curlss combo will pull out some of the curl?

Can you use any of these products on dry hair?

Thanks

The milkshake doesn't have any hold, so I wouldn't consider it a styling cream. It's more like a thick liquid that moisturizes.

Now, when I use the milkshake and spiral cream, it loosens/elongates my curls. Whether it will have the same affect on you, not entirely sure. You'll have to experiment anyway, so give it a try.

Both products can be used on dry hair, but with the spiral cream, it will have more hold when used on dry hair. It can be alittle crunchy, so you may want to apply it with wet hands.

I used milkshake last night for a leave in and then some spiral curls cream. My hair is definently not as curly and it was easier to pull some of the kinks out in the front this morning. So far I like it!! I didn't get any crunch at all with spiral curls cream and I used some more on dry hair this morning. I just have soft curls today. Yay!! I hate crunch. I'm going to try milkshake with souffle tonight!

You lucked out! I heard back from Mahisha - she said as soon as they stocked at Thanksgiving, they sold out ! They're due to get some more in at the end of this month, so I'll have to try again then.
