Anyone have experience at Salon Spargo in Michigan with Marni?
I am seriously giving it some thought about going to Salon Spargo for a Deva Cut with Marni Foster. I have read some things here, but I can't seem to find any pictures. I really would like some more feedback. Anyone been there? It isn't too far away from me, only 45 minutes. Would definitely be worth it. I did read all the reviews on the Salon page, but I really want to see pics.
Thanks :0)

I wish I knew how to post pics for you, But you just have to believe me that you will love Marni herself, and what she will do for your hair. She is not only deva inspired, but trained by our very own Tiffiny. I have loved all my cuts from her, but this last one is the best. My curls just fall into place, no matter what product I use. I am still amazed at the difference a curly cut makes. You must must go!

bigredapmi- Thanks, I have been going back and forth on whether I should make an appointment. I just had my hair trimmed the beginning of January. The drive is what is making me give it thought, but it is only 45 minutes away. Which isn't a whole lot. I know that there are others from what I have read that have a longer trip to visit her and still do. I just wish that I could see pics. Tried doing searches, and I have only found one. Thanks so much for responding to me :0)

I may be in the minority here, but I had a nasty experience at Salon Spargo with Marni for many, MANY reasons. I left a review I believe in the Salon Reviews section detailing some of what happened.
But, you never know until you try. Make sure to mention you found her on here- last summer she was still giving a discount to first time NC.com members. I felt like I was robbed but at least I didn't have to pay the full $65 or higher amount for a "trim".
EDIT: Interesting, looks like my review was never posted. Hmmmm

Hmm.... Joyforcurls,
Thanks for the pictures. Truthfully, I like many of the befores, better than the afters.
Aislin- Thank you so much, I did read all the reviews. There were some here and there where people were not happy.
Thank you all for helping me decide :0)

Melissa is a client of mine (Marni here) and a wonderful stylist. We are both here to give you all an option other than traditional wet cut layers. We don't claim to be able to make everyone happy, we don't claim to turn waves into spirals, thin hair thick or "bad" hair "good." And we don't claim to be perfect. We care, we empathize and we want to help you love what you have and have your hair work for your lifestyle and be the best it can be.
We cant make everyone happy for a variety of reasons but we sure try and only want to give you something better for your cuts than traditional hairstyling. Take care all,

Libra_Moon, that would be awesome, but I'm up on Mackinac until mid-October. Perhaps later on this year? How fun would that be???
