So I have had the bug to cut my hair for some time now. The last several weeks I've actually really liked my hair, but felt overwhelmed by the length.

I asked for 2 inches off thinking I could get the wanting shorter hair out of my system without a major change.

Well......looks like I got closer to 4 inches off

I don't think she actually took 4 inches off, but I think that the 2 she did take off took so mucch weight off that it curls more than before, making it looks a lot shorter than I had planned

Poop.

The length looks kinda dorky or weird or something.

I bet your hair is in shock. MIne is odd when I first trim it and then it will settle into it's usual pattern.
I'm sorry you're traumatized right now by it though.

How long has it been? I know anytime I get more than 1" taken off, my hair goes crazy for about a week or 2. It sort of goes into shock, curling up like crazy. Slowly, it goes back to normal. Maybe? Hopefully?

Thanks ladies I'll take some pictures tomorrow after I fix it.

Today was a ponytail Christmas shopping day.

I'm hoping it'll settle down after it gets used to the cut.
