Help With Hair (mulatto hair)

Hey guys, I need some help with my hair. I am mixed (black and white) and Have had pretty much every hairstyle you can imagine. I am not new to relaxing my hair or trying different hairstyles, but my hair is naturally very curly and afro like.

Right now my hair is relaxed, and I am about to shave it all off to regrow it curly. The thing is, I want to know what kind of texturizer or products or what should I ask for at the salon to basically get my hair from

Like I said, I have not started growing it yet, so if theres anything I can do to also help it grow in this formation I would like to know that too. As an example, my hair doesnt grow curly when its been relaxed, but rather takes the form of poofy-to-straight.

Thanks in advanced guys!
