Default Pure Shea Butter - how to use?

Any one have some tips on how to use pure shea butter? I bought some yesterday and all it has mixed in is some essential oils for fragrance. It's very thick. Seems to work great as a lip balm. Any suggestions on how to use, especially in my hair?

thanks.

Default how to use shea butter

Here's how:
Melt half and half shea butter and jojoba oil over very low heat, stirring thoroughly. Remove from heat, add a few drops of lavender and rosemary essential oils, and put into a little jar. Stick the jar in the refrigerator until it firms up a bit, and then you have your own jar of an intense pre-shampoo treatment! Scoop out a dime-or-nickel-sized blob of this mix, emulsify in the palms of your hands, and work throughout hair that's been spritzed with water, and leave in for at least an hour - more is better though! This does revive curl as well as conditioning the hair. Shampoo out with your usual stuff and condition. Don't over-apply this mix, as it is pretty heavy. Good luck!

Default

sounds like a good idea.

Do you suppose other oils would work as well? Maybe olive oil?
