asianrunner, I tried mixing KCCC and SSCEJ this morning, and so far, I like the result! I had used a decent amount of leave-in, then the KCCC/CEJ combo (mixed in my palm, raked and then scrunched in), then topped it all off with a scrunch of LALCG/BRHG. When I was scrunching it all in, I was thinking, "Rustina, what are you doing? Your hair is going to be a producty mess!" but it actually came out very nice. Less frizz than I've had over the last few weeks, which is a welcome change! I'll have to see how it holds up through the day - that is the real test of any product or combo for me. It seems like everything looks good as soon as I SOTC, but I have to give it a couple of hours to see how it holds up.

At any rate, this combo may be a keeper. Thanks for the tip!

Anyone know how it works in high dews? Or second day hair?
I've tried KCCC in high dews many times and it's always a bust for me, never quite figured out why but it just makes me poof like crazy I'll probably end up trying it again this Summer though just to see if my hair has changed. I love it for 2nd day, mix it with some Med hold gel over spritzed hair works great. Sometimes I add a little KCKT depending how the frizz is.

Daily Fix as your LI? That can't be right........you must mean CFix?

Rustina how did it turn out?? I can't imagine using CEJ would make your hair producty. I did try this but didn't notice any difference in my hair since CEJ/FHG works for me in milder dews I'm just gonna save it to use later on. I have tried B-Leave in mixed with KCC and that works well too when I want a little extra protein.

I also just tried mixing KCCC with SS CEJ and it's really nice! I have well defined curls with the least amount of frizz I've had in a while. At first it felt producty but i think i tend to get "frizz free" confused with "producty"

It worked great! Like mountaincurl, I had some good definition, and the frizz stayed largely away through the day. I still had some - I always have *some* frizz - but not nearly the usual amount. Yay! And it wasn't so much that I thought the CEJ would make me producty, but by the time I was scrunching in my 5th product - I used LI, KCCC/CEJ, and LALCG/BRHG - I was afraid I had overdone it. Thankfully, that was not so!

I didn't think it could do that either, but it suddenly started making my hair look and feel VERY producty. It went from working like a charm every single time I used it to producty frizz. I tried adjusting the amounts, but no dice. I've shelved it for now. I can't figure out what happened.

I haven't read the responses yet here, but I have another post on KCCC - I used Suave as a LI and I got dryness by the end of day.

I used it successfully last summer over everything.

Yesterday, I used it all alone and it was LOVELY - and today I rewet (after pineappling last night) and I LOVE it soft shiny clumps and hold.

Yep. I LOVE DF as a leave in! It smooths my hair out and tames frizz. It's weird, because my hair get weighed down easily, but not so with DF.

Did someone on here say they use JUST AOMM with KCCC? Aren't they like the same product? (I'm going to try it today - not sure how you do it, though.

I use just AOHR Conditioner (RO) and KCCC. Didn't work as well for me as CJBSC and KCCC, though.

Well, I just did AOMM, which to me is the same as KCCC but I'll see what they're like together?

I'm reviving my thread because I finally FINALLY tried KCCC with SSCEJ. I forgot about the combo LOL. Well, it worked like a charm! KCCC on it's own can be very producty feeling for me. CEJ will hold sometimes or not. Together I have (so far) wurly, enhanced hair that's soft, smooth, not frizzy, holding well, and no crunch to scrunch! I'll update at the end of the day.

Isn't it great? I love that combo. And today, I tried KCCC mixed with Re:Coil and got similar results. The mag sulfate, while very curl-enhancing, is too drying for me if used on its own, so I had stuck the Re:Coil in the closet after trying it a couple of times and figured it was not going to work for me. Mixed with KCCC, though, I get the curl-enhancing properties without the dryness and frizz. Yay!

I now think of KCCC as my own personal mag sulfate delivery system. :-)

I've actually been running KCCC with Oyin Hair Dew and a little bit of grapeseed oil and its been doing really well.

I had to stop using Knot Today, weighed my hair down so much!

I had mentioned using AOMM with KCCC. For me the AOMM gives my hair more moisture. It was very dry this winter and the AOMM helped keep the moisture in. I don't know what it is about KCCC but I get really enhanced waves and ringlets with it. The 2 paired together gave me some really good hair days. Also AOMM is more runnier than KCCC. For me they aren't really the same since I can get some hold with KCCC as with the AOMM I get nothing besides moisture and shine.

I use it only without a leave-in and it works much better for me that way.

For two weeks of April showers, I've been using Aubrey Organics Island Naturals as a leave in, then KCCC, topped off with Ecostyler Argan. AOIN was my HG winter leave-in, but I may have to rethink it in the summer. So far I am liking the KCCC/Ecostyler combo. There may be a better one out ther yet for my hair, but I can at least attest to that fact that these products go well together.
