I've paired KCCC with CIAB twice and it has been . My hair feels cashmere soft and moisturized when it's completely dry. I still have to be mindful of how much KCCC I apply but once I SOTC, it's fine. The second day hair is even better because it looks like I have soft, shiny "naked" hair with great curl retention.

The first attempt gave me three day hair (I washed on the 3rd day anyway) but that's something I didn't think was realistic. I paired the combo with KCKT as my leave-in.

Interesting! I have all three of these products, so I'll have to try it. Did you mix the KCCC and CIAB in your hand first, or put them on one at a time?

Rustina,

I currently apply the stylers one at a time. The KCCC goes on first followed by CIAB.

However, I'm going to experiment with making a cocktail of the two before applying them to my hair. I also plan on applying CIAB first with a little KCCC on top to see if it makes a difference. I've got third day hair going and I might be able to sneak in a forth tomorrow if I'm not too rushed in the morning to co-wash.

I'm calling it!!!

The SSCEJ and KCCC combo is a HG!!!!

I was in SC this week for work and it was pretty darn humid. All I took to style with was these two. Well for the whole time I was there I got zero frizz and complements galore!!! HOORAY!!!!!

I rarely use LI....and especially not in the heat of summer or humid conditions. I save LI for winter (though I did get the new CJBCLI recently but I didn't use it here). Just did about a nickel to quarter sized dollop of KCCC and about 3-5 pumps of SSCEJ in my hand, mixed together in my palms, and scrunched in like normal.

Just wanted to report back that I tried this today, and I am in love!! My hair is soft and my curls are nicely formed and I have hardly any frizz.

I used KCKT with a few drops of ACV mixed in (an experiment in trying to acid-balance my hair) as a leave-in, then applied the KCCC/CIAB (mixed in my hand first), topped off with LALCG and a teeny dab of BRHG.

I'll have to try the combo a few more times to see if it continues to be reliable, but it looks promising. Thanks for the tip!!

Oooh, I have CIAB being delivered as we speak. I'm going to try that combo, thanks.

Does everyone use their same KCCC combos all year round or do you find you need to change them according to the season?

Just adding to the people who've already recommended KCCC and SSCEJ....I have this in my hair now and it is my favorite combination, my hair is soft, lots of defined curls and not to gelled down or puffy. I use a liberal amount of CEJ first and then top it with a smaller amount (about dime sized) of KCCC in three sections to all my hair.

I also have CIAB and I don't really like it with the KCCC....for me it makes little white balls/flakes. Actually CIAB with anything, even alone, has been flake-y for me, though my hair is low porosity so others may not have any issues with it. CIAB leaves my hair with bigger, softer looking curls than SEJ does, though.

I tried KCCC with AOMM and really liked it! Today I tried it with SS CEJ and loved it!! My hair is so shiny with either of these combos.
I find that when I use KCCC in the mix I get better second day hair than with any other combos.
I ordered some more KCCC from stock n go yesterday and am anxiously waiting for it. I only have a tiny bit left and hope it will last! I am so glad I revisited this again.

For a leave-in, I use it successfully with Cure Care Conditioner from Sally's. I use the Cure Care as a co-wash alternate, and as a leave-in alternate to KCKT. I love to use KCCC with KCKT, but the KCKT bottle is so small (8 oz.), I could go through it in days. 8 oz. bottles of conditioner are "travel-sized" for me. Both KCKT and Cure Care have cetyl alcohol, so maybe this is an ingredient that plays nice with KCCC. Cure Care costs $2.99 for a 20 oz. bottle, or $5.99 for a gallon, so it's a cost effective alternate, too.

I've also had good luck with KCCC and Biotera Curl Creme. KCCC doesn't like any of my gels, but it isn't as picky with curl cremes, as long as I apply the cream to dry hair.
