Default Tried Phtyo 9

And I love it! I just bought some after all of the comments on Phytodefrissant. I already had that stuff, but it made me go back and look at what else they offer. I have really fine hair and lots of leave in conditioners weigh my hair down too much. This stuff just sinks right in but leaves my hair soooo soft!! It smells like macadamia nuts and is a creamy consistency, but instead of slicking over my hair the way most leave-ins feel, this seems to absorb the second it touches my hair. It doesn't weigh my curls down at all.

I straightened my hair yesterday and wow! My hair is so silky and soft!! Of course I also used Phytodefrissant, but I've used it countless times before and never had my hair feel so soft and healthy.

Here's the only downside, it's super expensive. I had no idea that the tube would be so small when I paid $24 for it! I'm torn, I love the stuff, but knowing if I used as much as I'd prefer, I'd go through a tube in probably less than a month. If anyone knows where I can get it at a discount, I'd love to know.

They have it at cosmeticmagic.com for 21.95...not a huge savings, but ever bit helps (they have free shipping if you spend a certain amount...)

I really want to try this stuff now! I don't want to loosen my curl but I would love it for when I straighten my hair. It's hard to keep it straight when it's really humid, or at this time of year when there is so many parties it gets gross after dancing.

I just straightened my hair for a party tonight and it's really humid out. I used a Sunsilk anti-poof set which felt so weird because it's probably the worst thing for your hair if you are CG!

I also wanted to mention the fact that after using it for three days in a row, my hair is much softer than I ever recollect after washing with Low Poo and conditioning with One C. My hair feels like someone else's was placed on my head. Really!

And I found that Ebay occasionally offers professional sizes for a better than retail price on Phyto 9 and Phytodefrissant. I'll be buying the pro size next time, I'm thinking now this small tube will only last me a couple of weeks.

The good thing about Phyto 9 is that a little goes a long way. Even on thick 3B hair. In general, I think the Phyto line is great -- pricey, but great.

I love Phyto 9! We all became enamored of it at the NYC curly gathering at Phyto Universe. I got a tube of Phyto 7 in a MUA swap and I can't really tell the difference.

I've been using the phytodeffrisant and love it!! Is the Phyto 7 and 9 CG friendly?
