Default officially giving up on Garnier products

I've never had good luck with any Garnier products I've tried, but this morning I gave the soft curl cream one last try. I only used a dime sized amount (on shoulder length hair), emulsified, scrunched with a microfiber towel and diffused. I had pretty nice curls, but not great curl defition.

An hour later I checked my hair, and just about all the curl had come out of my hair...I'm never using any of their products again. Good thing I just bought Lo Poo so I can get the cones out of my hair.

Take care,
Sherry

Hi Sherry
I didn't have any luck with the stuff either. My hair did the exact same thing as yours. During the day, it went limper and limper. By the time I got home, I had no curl and my hair looked greasy. UGH!!
At least it was cheap!

I hated the SCC at first but now I really love how my curls come out with this product.

A dime size would not do a thing for me. I have to emulsify a wad about the size of a quarter but double a quarter's thickness (my hair is BSL). I rake or comb it through my hair and then diffuse or air dry.

I feel like you do though about other products I've tried and given up.

Hi,

I have tried the SCC about five different times-using everything from a pea sized drop up to about two quarter sized dollops. My hair looked greasy and felt gross no matter what amount I used.

I'm glad it's really working for you, though! I really wish I could find a cheap drugstore product that works in my hair, but my hair must have expensive taste Good thing I barely spend anything on skincare, makeup or perfume ....

Take care,
Sherry

That's how I felt about the Curl Life products line. So if you don't like the SCC stay away from Curl Life.
