plopping with 50% polyester tshirt

so normally i plop with 100% cotton. but i'm at my dads for xmas and realised i couldnt find ANY 100% cotton tshirts big enough to plop in. i found a 50% cotton, 50% polyester and thought 'what the heck' and just used that. i didnt plop for as long as i was aware that it would absorb water quicker and more of it. but when i took it off, even whilst wet, my curls looked much curlier and bouncier and curled from the root more! they are also air drying a lot quicker and there's no extra frizz! i think the polyester absorbed more water so the curls were drying superfast scrunched up, giving them more bounce and curl, and now theyre air drying quicker! yey! will update when hair is completely dry!

I know better than to ask for pics since you're at home but dang it now I want some so I can see!
Congrats on finding a way to shorten the drying time and enhance your curls I guess all natural isn't always better eh?

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!
well i do have a camera but i cant upload them and it'll be the first photos of my hair since its been cut. this time round washing it i tried purposely to stop my hair getting the ringlets it normally does. i'm going out tonight so wanted a more 'going out' look. ringlets are pretty but kinda...not right for christmas night out! so its more thin curls today but it does show off the very very VERY slight layer that i have. some curls are slightly shorter on top which i'm happy about, as it shows over the next few months i can start to get more layers

and cotton does work for me, but this polyester tshirt really seemed better than 100% cotton. the tshirt itself wasnt as wet either but more moisture had been absorbed. i think with 100% cotton, the tshirt absorbs the water initially but then i leave it on my head whilst the tshirts wet and it doesnt increase drying any more than the initial 5 mins.

dont worry, photos to come soon

Woohoo yay pics of the new hairdo!

I'm the plopping impaired. I can plop for long enough to get dressed, any longer than that and my top if completely flat (I have shorter layers so that's not normal for me)

Boy your hair ought to be springing up nicely with a few layers in there!

it does look a bit bouncier but it still has length which i like i'll be taking this polyester tshirt back to glasgow with me too as i am very impressed with the hair its given me! like i said i have hardly any of my signature ringlets, but have done that purposely ( i actually had to unravel them as they were driving *sniff*) but its nice to have a change!
