Tell us your weekly PJ haul!

Thanks for the souffle review, KeLynn!! I think the next time I go to buy something, I'll get that. Right now, I'm pretty much only using KCCC mixed with SSCEJ as my styler, and while I like that combo, I want something I can mix it up with once in awhile. I can't wait to try it!
Sulfate/non-water-soluble silicone free since 8/16/10
Northern VA
Med-coarse, normal porosity, low elasticity
Dye-free since 11/2010

I'm not a die-hard PJ, but I do find myself in the hair aisle a little too much -- so, I'll join in on the fun, too!

I made a Target/CVS trip and picked up four things:

Yes to Carrots conditioner
Burt's Bees Baby Bee Fragrance Free Shampoo and Wash
Dr. Bronner's Hemp-Tea Tree Castile Soap
....and, last, but CERTAINLY not least....LOOB!

I have tried everything but the Castile Soap so far, and I'm really liking everything I bought! I bought the Burt's Bees Baby Shampoo for my sensitive scalp (since I think I've narrowed the culprit down to fragrance, and this was the easiest fragrance-free wash to get!). The Yes to Carrots was also mainly for this reason, since it has a low fragrance content. This was a very weird experience, since I've gotten the big-name drugstore brands all my life. NOTHING natural, since I could care less and didn't know any better! I feel so much better about using the natural stuff, too, but it IS expensive.

So far, I'm liking the moisture I get from Yes to Carrots. It's similar to my near-HG, Tresemme Naturals Moisture (sadly, had to give this up -- I hate having to avoid fragrance!!!!), except it doesn't have as much slip. It is harder to comb through my knots with this, and it sort of smells like baby wipes, which is interesting for a conditioner, but I still like it anyway. The Burt's Bees has temporarily fixed the itchies problem (I'm hoping it will stay that way), so I'm really loving that, too (and it gives a nice lather -- BONUS!). The LOOB is out of this world on first day hair, even though I had originally bought it for 2nd day+ hair. I usually need more moisture to keep the frizz/poof at bay and less hold, so I thought this would be perfect, but, nope. I'm sticking to my "adding extra conditioner and gel thing" now!
Type 2c/3a with lots of hair and a super sensitive scalp! Med/slightly coarse texture, low porosity and elasticity.

Favorite...
Low poo: Organix TTM, Essential Wholesale Free & Clean
RO/LI: TN, GFTN, YTC
Stylers: EcoStylers, GF Curl Shaping Gel, Aussie Aussome Volume Mousse & Instant Freeze Gel, GFPC, LALNC, La Bella Lots of Curls, Apricot Oil, KMFUM, AO B5DG
Extras: sugar scrubs, AVG washes, pre-poos with EVCO, oiling scalp before washes, plopping, gelatin PT.
Mod-CG since 12/1/10!

Thanks, I have been trying it as a LI, and it's working so well! I'm glad you mentioned that. I'm trying not to "waste" any extra because it's expensive, so I'm still leaning more toward my Suave for LI, but it's working really well for me.

I plop like normal afterward for about an hour/hour and a half, and then I pixie diffuse upside down for 80% of the time, right side up for 15%, and then I finish the rest upside down and diffusing like normal (no pixie diffuse). I am also working on my next CurlMart order already (especially now that they carry KBB!!!). It's a good thing hubby doesn't look in the checking account, just asks whats in it with, usually, no questions.

I think it is safe to say that my inner-PJ has risen again, with a vengence. But, good for me, I normally "get my fix" then don't buy anything new for a while (being anywhere from a month to six months or so).

This, however, does not include my makeup and skincare purchases made lately, which is another HUGE PJ for me . We won't even touch that for now !!!

Tell me how the LOOB experiments go! I was thinking of using it as more of a finisher/2nd day hair styler, but it breaks up my clumps too much. I would totally use it on days I want a more relaxed, casual, beachy look (oooh, summer's right around the corner!), but usually I like tighter curls.

I'll probably wait a little while to order anymore hair products (with the exception of the products I have in my cart now...LOL).

As far as the B&B, I have only tried the Seaweed conditioner so far. I liked it a lot. It is very seaweed-y and pretty good for detangling. Once I try more, I'll report back with reviews

BTW, I was *TOO* excited when I found that Target carried Kinky Curly products! I was like a kid in a candy store!

$250 - thats amazing lol! And far too easy to spend!

Hmmm I may look into Bumble and bumble more.....like I need anything else!
Last weekend I restrained myself and only got Suave Captivating Curls Spray Gel (finally found it in the store!) and Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Smoothing Creme at the Wal-Mart (hubby was with me and he was hungry so I had to make it quick!). Tried the smoothing creme earlier this week and I was surprised at the results I got just using it by itself - very nice. I expect I'll use it more as the weather gets warmer Haven't tried the Suave spray gel yet, but I had used their old "Healthy Curls Spray Gel" before and liked it - I'm hoping this is the same or a smiliar product.

I have to say I've been pretty good about reigning in my inner PJ lately, but I got a 20% Sally's Coupon and had enough things on my wish list to get free shipping, so I have some fun new things to try on the way soon! It's been quite some time since I ordered stuff from Sally's, and some of my product stash is actually getting low, so I allowed myself a little shopping spree

Here's what I got:
Curls Unleashed - Set it Off Curl Boosting Jelly
Curls - Goddess Curls
Curls Unleashed - Lavish in Lather Sulfate-Free shampoo
Ion - Curl Defining Shampoo (I know it is not sulfate-free, but I def won't use it daily... I'm CG most of the time but do occasional sulfate 'poos. It is supposed to be 'gentle' so we'll see...).
Roots of Nature - Mango Cupuacu Curl Reviving Spray
Ion - Finishing Spritz
(and some other misc non-hair stuff - nail polish, body lotion, etc)

Also, a couple weeks ago I was in a different Walmart than the one I usually go to and they had some products my local store didn't have - LA Looks Beachy Waves Spray Gel (spray gel with mag sulfate! liking it so far!) and V05 Silky Experiences Shea Cashmere (co wash/leave-in. Nothing earth-shattering, but it smells nice, and does the job). I also finally found LA Looks Nutra Curl Gel at CVS (just OK, I have other gels I prefer to it, but I don't hate it. Might like it better in the winter when it is less humid).
