Finally!! Hair cut accomplished

I had cancelled an appt back in November. Then I had to cancel my appt in February due to SO going into the hospital. Finally got my hair cut today!! My hair does not grow real fast so it was just barely past my shoulders when dry. But, I still had about 4 inches cut off today! And I had bangs cut back in.

I had my stylist blow it out-she does such a fantastic job. And due to having so much cut off I know it will be at least a week before my hair will even be thinking about acting normal.

She always does such a nice job with the blowout so it's a totally different look after months of it being too long (for me). And I have not had real bangs in probably 2 years! For the past 2 cuts we did some longer bangs but not what I really considered bangs.

It will be very interesting to see how it works out tomorrow...bangs and 4 inches less!! She does a really good job putting in very subtle layers so I do not look scraggly (is that a word?).

I am looking forward to doing my hair tomorrow. It was making me look so drawn and dragged out by being too long.

Man, I just LOVE a salon blowout!! I don't straighten that often, just out of sheer laziness, but lately I have my girl blow it out when I go for cuts. It is so fun to switch up looks that way. Strangely, I can NOT get day 2 curly hair no matter how hard I try, but I can milk day 2 AND 3 hair from a blowout...love it!!!

Glad you had a great haircut!
Good luck with your new cut. I'd love to see some pictures.

BTW, I love bangs!!
Hair Type - wavy/curly, fine texture, thin/medium density

I just picked up the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention shampoo-I LOVE IT! I got it at Walgreens.

And my other new love is the Botanical Spirit puree!! No glycerin in the puree. My hair only tolerates glycerin in warmer weather.

So today, shampoo'd with the Shea Moisture shampoo, conditioned with CJ strengthening condish, mixed some of the puree with some CJ beauticurls leave in condish (on really wet hair). Then I took some of the water out with a flour sack towel then used CJ Curl Queen gel...then diffused.

Much more than you wanted to know huh hair twin ???

I also recently got some EO curl gel (new product). I think it is going to be fantastic in warmer weather.

I need an intervention.

I'm interested in this puree, too, as I need to stay away from glycerin in the cold weather as well!

I got the regular strength. My sample was mild.

There is a thread about the brand under the product review section. Hope that helps.

That looks so cute! I've been letting my hair grow for a while, but that is my favorite length.

Yay
