Best Hair Shampoos For Frizzy 2a/b?

So I have really frizzy 2a/b & I really don't know what to do anymore! Please help!
You may want to check out the CG method. It's the method of washing your hair with conditioner to gently cleanse your scalp while adding moisture. Here's a link to help you get started:

TON of useful information for new curlies!! =)

Because curly hair usually "reaches out" for moisture when it's dry, the CG method will help with the frizz by hydrating your hair.

Good luck! HTH!

So, read the info on here. Read the basics (look at the stickies, read the provided link on the CG method).

Frizz: Show a picture of it. Describe it. Describe your current routine. You're asking people to help you blind. It's like me asking you if you think my outfit is okay and what I should change, but you don't tell me what the outifit is like or post a photo of it. How much help will that be?

Frizz can be due to damage, lack of moisture, lack of protein, innappropriate products for the hair or the season..a combo.

How do you care for your hair now? What does it look like? Post a pic. What are your hair properties? What products do you currently use? What is your climate?

If you want responses, then you have to give better into, right?

But beginning to properly care for it is a steep learning curve. Be prepared to read a lot, experiment some, and be patient. It doesn't happen overnight. But it can be improved in short order with the right approach and care.

Wishing you the best. Now, go read...

Oh, and you don't have to do the CG method to have hair in good state. Many of us on here are modified CG or not CG very much at all. However, you will have to learn to add and keep moisture in the hair and know how to do adequate protein (some need very little, some need a lot and often). Once your moisture/protein balance is achieved, frizz is a minimal to non-issue.

The value of going CG, even if temporarily, is that it will help get moisture in the hair FAST...because you eliminate harsh cleansers. That can help with frizz.

Do forum searches and read the stickies and the TECHNIQUES links. There is a whole lot to try to cut down on frizz that is caused by poor styling technique. Many of us do not ever brush or comb dry hair. We only comb or brush with curl-friendly implements and with wet and, ideally, conditioned curls to keep damage low. We minimize or eliminate pulling/high heat styling. We learn which towels are best for our hair, and we learn whether we can use X or Y ingredients.

I frizz from glycerin. Others benefit from glycerin. No one's hair is identical.
