Default Curl Keeper. Do I bother trying or just swap my new bottle?

Received a new bottle of this in a multi-item swap. Thought I would try it but keep reading things like "meh" "great way to lessen my volume". I want increased volume NOT less.

I have fine-ish, wavy hair and I am always seeking more volume and definition.

Knowing that, should I even bother trying or swap a new, unused bottle?

You won't know if you like it unless you try it in a couple of different seasonal conditions since Curl Keeper's results can be vastly different depending on the climate.

It was just meh on me, and I couldn't get past the tire-like smell. Others swear by it.

It's worth a try. You can always pass it along later if it doesn't work.

If I remember correctly aren't you allergic to some ingredients?? Don't know what it was, but something in CK makes my scalp burn. That would be my only hesitation in going forward with it.

It also did nothing for me.

For about 6 months curl keeper was da bomb for me. I stopped using it during the colder weather that year and when I pulled it out the next spring/summer my hair was not impressed.

I am thinking of trying it again this spring/summer. I have fine/thin density hair and did not notice reduced volume but I am not one to use a ton of product so maybe that was it.

But like RCC said you will never know until you try it. Keep in mind if you have issues with glycerin this may not work for you.

Thanks!

YES! I am allergic to sooooo much!

One last question-Is it really to be a watery consistency?
