Default I got super spirals today!!! (edited with some pics).....

I got really great spirals today here is what I used... I c/w with curls coconut condtioner rinsed it all out upside down than I applied the curls milkshake scrunched it in than scrunched with microfiber towel and added the curls spiral cream then scrunched some more plopped and diffused with my reg. diffuser and got ringlets. I think this is the first time I got great success with the curls products ( maybe because its winter lol) oh now I love the curls stuff, oh yea i have this anal thing when I use stuff it always has to be all from the same product line. except when I use BSRHG.
added some pics to my fotki ( 2nd album)

That's great - I still cannot get the Curls line to work for me, I don't know why. The Spiral Curls Cream is probably what I need - a cream styler with the potential not to crunch. Yet, I tried it twice with no luck. Same with Milkshake; I thought it would give me a nicer looser curl. NOPE...

I'm glad it worked for you - maybe someday I'll give it another try. Your idea of using products from the same line is probably smart. I did not use the Curls Conditioner with the stylers.

yes I had tried it a few times but today I finally got it to work I used a small amount of the milkshake and a generous amount of the spiral cream.

Yeah for you Keewee ! Isn't if funny how products can sometime work for you at other times of the year, instead of at the time that you first begin using it. Because Curls products are very moisturizing, I can definitely see how they probably ended up working better for you now that the weather is colder outside.

I think using at least the conditioner with the spiral CC must be the key. At least that's what I gather from reading the posts on here

I love the Curls Asian hair tea conditioner, and milkshake is a great moisturizing leave in for me. I'm a little iffy with the spiral curls cream. I don't really like the smell and it only works sometimes.

The new Spiral Curl Cream doesn't have the same scent that it used to and neither is it as pronounced as it was before. It has the same scent as Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner now, and the amount of fragrance added to it is a whole lot lighter than before.

Smallfry here is a list of the rest of the "Curls for Women" products and their signature scents:

1.Curls Quenched Moisturizer-Peachy scent
2.Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner-Tea scent
3.Curls Coconut Sublime-Coconut+Banana scent
4.Curls Euphoria Elixir-Juicy Pineapple scent
5.Curls Whipped Cream-Warm vanilla+brown sugar scent
6.Curls Souffle-Warm vanilla+brown sugar scent
7.Curls Cleansing Cream-Warm vanilla+brown sugar scent
8.Curls Milkshake-Pure Vanilla scent
9.Curls Goddess Glaze-Fragrance free

I am now officially ON BOARD with Curls products! I have never used a line that I thought was HG, but boy is this stuff great! Lavendercurls turned me onto it, so I bought some samples. I'm going to have to sell some blood or maybe one of my children to justify this horrible habit that's just hit me. Right now I'm using this combo: Asian Tea Conditioner (also as a DT with heat) then milkshake on the ends, then souffle, then following with BRHG. BRHG is the only NON-Curls thing I am using, but the GG wasn't doing it for me. Anyhow, I am LOVING this line and am recommending it all over this board! Also, I now feel like I actually have avatar/Fotki-worthy curls! That's why I've never had an Avatar - I thought my curls would never look as good as all the beautiful curls on this site, but now I feel like I'm moving up in the ranks!

I also meant to say how funny it was that I'm in a totally different climate than NYC and am also having great results with Curls. We never know what we're gonna get down here weather-wise, but the curls line keeps powering through for me. Also, I got my first curly cut today, and my hair is looking GREAT with the curls stuff. I expect to receive my order of Quenched and Spiral Curls Cream tomorrow (fingers crossed) and will post the results of that combo. I can't wait!!

Women's World Magazine has a 20% off coupon code for Curls products.

I think it's "WWMAG" and is good through the beginning of March. Pllease let me know if it does not work, and I'll dig out the issue.

I am trying to not look at this site....

Take care,
Sherry

Medusahair,

The issue of Woman's World that has the coupon code is dated January of 2007, and says it is good until March of 2007! Maybe e-mail someone at the site? I'm sorry it didn't work.

Take care,
Sherry
