Yes to....

Tomatoes, Carrots, or Cucumbers? Which one did you like and why? I'm currently using the Yes to Carrots and LOVING it, but when I run out, I want to know if it would be worth it to try a different one. I love all the moisture and slip it's giving me. I stayed away from the Cucumber one last time, because it seems that lots of things with cucumbers have protein (I didn't read the ingredients -- I was in a rush), and it also said "For Color Treated Hair" on the label (and I don't color my hair ). Please tell me what you think of them! TIA!

The carrots co as a LI is the best! It makes my hair feel the same way as CHS silk LI for a fraction of the price. Silky, smooth and shiny. I really want to try the others though..
I have tried all three. Love, love, LOVE Carrots!!! Cukes was OK, not quite as moisturizing, and the smell got to me after a while. Didn't like Tomatoes at all, but wonder if I ended up with a bad batch. I had picked it up on clearance from Walgreens and it was super watery, used once and threw away.

Kind of off topic, but has anyone tried the Yes To skin care stuff?
Is this line good for finer haired curlies too? Looking for something that is moisturizing but won't weigh me down...Carrots? Or Cukes?
2b/3a, normal/high porosity, fine/medium texture, medium density, low elasticity

Low Poo- Tigi Colour Goddess, Giovanni 50:50, Giovanni TTT (clarify 1X/week)
Condish- CJ Curl Rehab, Giovanni 50:50, Giovanni TTT
Leave In- Slip Detangler, KCKT, Redken Curl Refiner
Style- KCCC, SS CEJ, SS FHG
Treatment- CJ Repair Me! and CJ CR

Dislikes: Too much protein, high glycerin content, and heavy oils

Oh, thanks, ladies! Looks like everyone is loving the carrots. Guess I picked the right one! BTW, does anyone who DOESN'T have colored hair use the YTCucs? It looked good, except for the part on the label that said "For Colored Hair."

I bought the Yes to Cukes conditioner and was excited to start using it. It made my hair feel coated. I don't know if I wall give it a 2nd chance after using it for a week the first time. Might just use it up for shaving.

Maybe I will try YT Carrots if I see it on sale at some point. I was concerned about the color of the conditioner and my porous gray hair.

I've only tried Yes to Cukes and like it ok. I'm starting to think I need a conditioner with more "weight" to it like GVP conditioning balm. It does super with slip, moisturizing and detangling but not very heavy which could be good for some.

I may try using it as a leave-in instead. I don't have color treated hair and I'm pretty sure it's protein-free too!
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Repair Me, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC, UFD Curly Magic
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

I've been using Yes to Cukes also. I wanted to try the carrots but I noticed Dimethicone in the ingredients. I guess it's not causing buildup for anyone since you all love it so much. I'll grab some next time.

Thanks, Asianrunner and LISA LISA! The positive reviews for the YTCucs are awesome! I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you, though, Spiralli. I'd give the Carrots one a go, though! It seems like those who don't like the Cucs like the Carrots.

Oh, and LISA LISA -- I saw the dimethicone, too! It's weird, because the 'cone is only in the sample conditioner's ingredients list. The big bottle of conditioner doesn't have the silicone. Go figure! (I don't like using things with 'cones in it, so I checked the ingredients about four times!) Go for it -- it's 'cone free!

I have tried all 3. YTCarrots condish is a really good condish for me when I want to leave something moisturizing in my hair the whole time I'm in the shower. YTT is very nice too. I switch between the to conditioners. YTT seems lighter and works well for me since my hair is kinda fine. Now I used YTCukes for a long time but it seems to make my hair a lil oily and weighed down. Hope that helps!

That helps a lot! Thank you rascalluver11! I think I might just stick with the Carrots, then -- my hair is coarse, so anything that's heavier and more moisturizing is better! Thanks again!

My hair must be contradictory It's coarse and it doesn't like the YTCarrots nearly as much as it does YTCucs. I don't find the Carrots moisturizing and I don't think it has very good slip. I like the slip in the Cucs alot, and I don't feel it coats my hair at all. I love the Cucs. Never tried the Tomato. I alternate Cucs and Carrots and once I'm done with Carrots I won't repurchase.

I think the Carrots changed their formula so some bottles say dimethicone and some don't. My big bottle doesn't, but I see some in the stores do (the big bottles). I looked specifically for big bottles that didn't say dimethicone until I found a store that had a batch. So if you see the big bottles with dimethicone, those are older, "old" formula batches.
Maybe the amount of slip in Carrots has to do with the cone?? IDK.
That's me with FSG as my styler!!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I've tried Yes to Carrots...I really like it, but I probably won't buy it again. It's a nice product...but that's it. It has nice slip and a nice scent and a nice consistency, but I've had products that work better. So that's my two cents.

I'm also interested in trying Yes to Cucumbers though.
