Default curly New year's Resolutions

Hello, has anyone thought of making any curly New year's Resolutions? Well I have been thinking that I need to make some. So here's what I have come up with so far.

1- Stop diffusing or decrease using heat except for extreme circumstances.
2- I have to try to control my PJ, PJism gets expensive and I'm planning on making some big purchases (vactions, bedroom suite, pay off credit cards, build on savings) this new year so I need to cut back where I can. So I'm going to try stick with more budget friendly items.
3- I am going to do DT's more often to help my hair recover from the heat damage.
4- I'm going to try to reduce the use of gel, I think it may be drying my hair out. Or maybe I just need to go heavy on a leave-in under a gel?

What do you guys think?

I'm pretty happy with my product lineup, so I will resolve to stick with it, instead of buying the latest, most talked about products. I'll only purchase those after I've run out of my current products, a habit I do not, unfortunately, currently have.

Here's mines:

1.Sticking with only 1 shampoo and conditioner all year long.
2.Only taking a pair of scissors to my hair 1 or maybe 2 times a year at the most.
3. Only using one styling product in my hair that will work for the Spring/Summer months and only using one during the Fall/Winter months too.
4. Only using cream stylers in my hair all year long, and eliminating all gels from my routine.
5. Putting my hair in more protective stylings. And cutting down on the days that I wear my hair down(especially during the Winter time).
6.Cutting down on my PJism.

mine:

1. Get a sedusa. Preferably the sedusa/Devasun combo. I need a better dryer/diffuser combo.
2. Work on making my own condtioner. I've found ingredients I like and ingredients I don't. Unfortuneately, I only found one conditioner that meets me requirements. But, it's English, and it's $55 a liter! I will work on making my own rich thick condtioner with behentrimonium, oils, panthenol, and a non color stripping humectant (maybe agave) and skip the protein and glycerin.
3. My PJism has pretty much been killed by my super picky freakin' hair, so I guess the PJ will go to conditioner making expirimentation. But, I will not be tempted to buy something new just because everyone else likes it if I see ingredients I know won't work for me.

My only hair resolution is to not do the big chop (and I mean short, short) until I have grown my curls long one time. I've had long hair before but not since I've been taking great care of my hair. I'm curious to see what my curls will do when they get longer. I've got such the urge to have short hair again!

(OT...SmallFry, your avatar is SO cute!!)

I swore to myself the PJ in me was going to stop. I'm going to try and use up the endless amount of products I have before buying more. No more trying the new latest and greatest! Of course I had to place one more Curlmart order before starting this!!!

Same, also stay off sulfates and cones.

This is what I posted on the other thread:
I feel I have the PJ and the routine under control, so I have only one resolution: I will not have my hair dominate my schedule. If I find I'm fussing too much, and I'm going to run late, it's going in a messy bun or ponytail. I don't have time for vanity.
