Didn't even know they had a Yucca milk, it's not on their pdf that I've been looking at. Oooh, sounds interesting. I want a good milk product, been looking into the SM curl one or Oyin's dew.

The Yucca and Baobab milk is a product exclusive to Walgreens. It has almost identical ingredients to the Yucca and Aloe condish, but is in a smaller (8 oz.) bottle.

Thanks for the info. I see it on their site, but none of the Walgreens near me have it.

Interesting. I just knew you would have it in NYC. It is crazy that so few of their stores stock these items that are exclusive to Walgreens. I just think that is an insane marketing choice. I am not going to make a special trip to Walgreens unless I get their exclusive stuff. I can just grab some SM products during a regular trip to Target. I have told them and their customer service that - let's see what happens. I think more people would be complaining about it if they realized that there were other items they can't get. They will when they see them online though.

Actually we don't. I checked online, entered my job zip (midtown Manhattan), a zip up the block (Time Sq) then home (Brooklyn). Found only one store out of all that carries it and it's near home, but not really near if you know what I mean. Out of the way. I'm like you, always at Target, I barely go to drugstore's unless I'm hunting down a sale.

I do get it. I live in SoCal and everyone thinks that because something is 10 miles away it's "close", but they don't understand what effort it might take to GET those 10 miles. I feel your pain. I might just order the items from the SM line I really want at Walgreens.com, then buy what other items I want that I can get on the ground at Target.

I think it depends on the hair and product the humectant is in. I think is supposed to draw moisture to your hair but depending on the weather, it can draw moisture from your hair. But I'm pretty sure thats subjective in a lot of cases. I've never had a bad experience with something that had humectant stuff in it. *shrug

Actually none of the Walgreens where I live carry the Yucca milk. I was vacationing in Nashville last week and picked it up. But Target isn't always the answer for people either. My Target doesn't have Shea Moisture, Jane Carter, MJ ect. I was visiting relatives who live an hour and a half away on Sunday and their Target has all that. I picked put something from Curls line that I want to try.

I'm sure it isn't for everyone, but I'm in Brooklyn so the selection is pretty good where these hair products are concerned. I'm sure it has to do with demographics. I love Tarjay, one-stop shopping and almost always cheaper than other places and it's a 5min drive from home. Where do you live? I need to read up on this yucca milk!

I low-poo with the Moisture Retention shampoo (looooovvve it!) it has great slip and it's easier to detangle with than the masque. I used the masque as a DC yesterday for just a few minutes and my hair felt really soft. I like to combine it with olive oil and DT overnight on a weekly basis.

The shine spray might be a seasonal thing. See if it works when it's crazy humid or save for when the snow comes back.
