Default microfiber towels

I bought one today from the auto section in Kmart, I'll be using it tomorrow AM.

It's made by Viking Car Care and it features two distinctly different sides: one side is rough like a cat's tongue because it has "tiny absorbing Micro-Fingers that use capillary action to dry the surface" ; the other side is smoother and best resembles a thick bath towel.

I am a little worried about which side I should use. I am wondering if the Micro-Fingers are going to create some frizz via grabbing and pulling my waves/curls.

Has anyone had any micro-fiber car drying towel experiences? Feel like sharing? I would appreciate it very much.

OOh, I'm curious too. I bought a 5-pack of microfiber towels from the auto section that have about as much pile as a baby washcloth. I use them for scrunching and am really pleased but I was curious about the ones with the deeper pile. I couldn't find any that were big enough for plopping so I still use my old Aquis for that.
