To cut or just trim, that's the question! Feel so unstylish!
I finally went curly this summer and haven't looked back! I also haven't cut my hair since August. Right now the longest layer is to my collar bone and the shortest is to the bottom of my ear. Bra strap length when wet in back!
It definitely looked better in some regards in August. It kind of stuck out all over the place in a kazillion different layers, all nicely defined curls and looked stylish. Now it is longer and looks more like "wall of hair." It's at that awkard length, neither long nor short. The very back looks longer because the weight of my hair is making that spot straighter than the rest.
In three weeks I am going to a Devachan trained stylist who flies out to Los Angeles (from NY) every six weeks. He is supposed to be fabulous. Wondering what any of you long time curlies have noticed with hair length and feeling stylish and modern. This will be my first cut as a curly. When I was still laboring with blowdrying it and ironing it, I thought I wanted it super long...now I don't know. Just looking for a little advice from the vets.
Oh, and any specific things to mention to or ask the stylist? He does cut dry and apparently knows his stuff.
Thanks!!!!!
