Co-wash that actually makes you feel clean??!

Ok, right now I'm waiting patiently for my Jessicurl trial pack to get here. I plan on using the the same only washing once or twice a week method I'm trying now but I'm trying to find a conditioner to use along with it as my co-wash for the days in between. Many of the conditioners I've tried as co-washes have just left my hair feeling greasy and not clean. Any recs? I'm looking for something relatively cheap (but suave has only worked as a conditioner for me..).. thanks

People seem to like the VO5 kiwi and lime. It's been recommended as a co-wash because it's so light and (old formula at least) clarifying.

The rest of me is tempted to just order a bottle of EMBS just so I can wash my hair a little more often...

I'm waiting for some sample of no poos and low poos from the Deva line. I have not found one condish that works as a cleaning agent. They ALL leave my hair feeling very un-clean and greasy. I rinse extremely well and scrub and use very warm water but nothing feels good. I didn't get that feeling with suave milk and honey but I ended up with very fly away hair. Not good either.

I agree the conditioners don't make my hair feel clean so I use cream of nature, no poo, low poo or embs (this has a sulfate I think but seems real gentle in my hair)
I do lose my mind and co wash with kiwi lime sometimes but generally it's so humid here that it leaves my hair heavy even though that's a light clarifying conditioner. I noticed on real dry days I can co wash just fine. I'm speaking from my own experience of course YMMV

I use Devacurl No Poo, which always leaves my scalp feeling great. (Obviously that is not a cheap one.) Which conditioners were you using to co-wash with? It's possible they had some ingredients in there that didn't agree with your hair, or they might have had a cone? Of course, if you have fine or somewhat oily hair, or are a wavy, co-washing might not be right for you.

I just bought the kiwi and lime conditioner yesterday and I agree that it does make your hair feel (and smell!) clean. I've been using Suave for co-washing but I think I will end up liking v05 conditioners more.

I bought JC HCC to use as my shampoo but that will only be a once a week thing since it is so gosh darn expensive. Previously I have been using Suave Coconut to co-wash with but I kept having to break down every 2nd or 3rd day and wash with a sulfate-laden shampoo just to get the greases out, so I have been avoiding cones. My hair is not fine and it has a very strong wave (close to curl, some spirals) but it does get oily which I think might be my problem at this point.

I use Nature's Gate Organic Aloe and Lavender. It definitely doesn't feel greasy, although sometimes I really want to give my scalp a good scrub with something sudsy (heresy, I know

). I do shampoo every few days, and I've never tried anything else as a co-wash (I'm kind of new to all this ), so I can't compare.

Don't forget the White Rain condish's too, they get my hair pretty darn clean. The ocean breeze and extra body are the ones I've tried. I like suave and v05 too, but suave and white rain are thick and I usually dilute them in an extra bottle 50/50 with water so I feel like I'm getting more for my dollar's worth

Yup I use the VO5 Kiwi and Lime, works great and yes it smells awesome! I've been using a non-sulfate shampoo once a week, cowashing inbetween, my hair doesn't feel greasy/over conditioned at all.
