Rediscovered (Aura) Naturalle Hypoallergenic gel

I used 3 half-dollar sized puddles CK first on plopped hair, while my hair was still flipped upside down. Then, while still upside down, added a quarter sized puddle of the Naturalle hypo gel. Flipped my head back up added one more quarter size puddle to each side and scrunched - it was so squishy and I had that squishy sound for once!

I didn't touch it to let the whole thing "set" then let it air dry for a while, like 30 minutes or so, then diffused. FANTASTIC hair - shiny, no crunch, curls/waves beautifully defined and nice volume AND it worked in sticky humid weather and in the rain we had today.

I never realized this gel (which I used alone in the past and didn't like for some reason - I don't think I used enough when I tried it last time) would work so well with CK but it does. Bonus that I don't need to use a much of the expensive CK to get frizz free results!

Just wanted to share.
HG's:
Gel: BRHG mixed with Aura Naturalle Gel or B&A Gel
LI: GVP Conditioning Balm or Giovanni Smooth as Silk,
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (as a DC, before and after dying grays, and like a serum on dry hair)

Method: Air dry 20 minutes, then blow dry for volume.

2/3 mix waves/curls - coarse, frizz prone, med. thick, porous, at-home color for gray, protein sensitive but I still need it sometimes, glycerin-sensitive (I think) in high humidity, mod-CG routine.
I will have to try this! I've used the Aura gel by itself and it didn't have quite enough hold. But it may be time for it to come out again!
Mod CG since 8/2010
2cFii (fia), normal/normal, protein junkie. Itchy and allergic wavy!

I hope you like it! I am soooo pleased this works for me. I plan to experiement with the gel alone when it's cold out.

I can use CK alone but I need to use a TON to get the results I want and I simply can't afford it so it's nice that the Naturalle gel has a similar texture and I don't get stiff hard hair at all with it like I do with Biolage Gelee or BRHG. I may even try it alone over a leave-in when it gets cold out again.

I am not CG at all but I love that these rinse out clean and don't coat or build up in my hair.
