Abba LI

Do people use this? I've only heard of MirCurls using it and loving it; I've been looking everywhere for it and just did a search on soap.com (where I'm ordering other things b/c I have coupons) and I finally found it! So I want the Abba Pure Performance pure gentle LI treatment, right?

Where do you get yours? How do you use it?

I use it sometimes and like it - not as much as the Shescentit LI, but I like it.

I still like it (especially under FSG). I like CJ leave-ins (BCLI, Smoothing Lotion) better (see my fourth day hair with smoothing lotion in the review section under Spiral Solutions Protein Spray thread).

It's useful for hyperallergic folks, like me, so I keep it handy for when the itchies turn up.

I don't try new stuff much anymore, since I have products that work for me well. And this is one I would rebuy, though it's not one I use tons of.

Mir, I thought you said you used it *over* something? Not over FSG? I'm going to try it regardless. I've not been using many LIs, but I might need to start in higher dews...

Also, you use the CJ smoothing condish as a LI? hmm...

If I said I used it OVER something, it was a mistake or I was talking about refreshing hair. After I wash, I never use anything under a designated leave-in other than conditioner (rinse out or rinse out AND another leave-in). I've always done it that way.

I use LI, then whatever enhancers, then whatever gels/serums ON FIRST DAY.

To refresh hair, it's whatever I feel like--more leave in, more smoothing lotion, more curl enhancer, sometimes, more gel. I wing it.

Ohhh... okay. I've used recoil over fsg - I might have even used MD over FSG (and once bioterra) so I may try Abba like that too...

It is a good LI. I haven't used it ages. It isn't that I stopped liking it so much as there are other products I like a lot more. I you are looking for a decent LI that you can buy locally, it is a good option.

Just thought where you might have thought I used Abba LI over FSG. I love Abba Pure gel OVER FSG. The GEL....but the LI I always use UNDER stuff, not over.

So, maybe that's where the confusin came in. I know my Fotki has pics of my BB FSG with the Abba Pure gel....I like that combo a lot.

CORRECT! Smoothing Lotion. Smoothing Condish is not a product I use anymore (the rinse out). It doesn't work for me anywhere near as well as the newest one.

Abba Pure Gentle is one of my favorite leave-ins because of its superior clumping. I mix it with a little Qhemet OHHB or BRBC. It's like Knot Today with protein. I scored a couple litres at TJ Maxx last year and am set for years. It's an excellent detangler as well, but I need more moisture so I don't use it as a rinseout.

Oh, I had quoted you as saying this: I stick with Curl Queen or FHG mostly, and occasionally add Abba Pure Gentle into my routine for a change, as it works amazingly well over BB's FSG.

Not that I "quoted" you - I just cut and pasted into my hair journal, so I would remember to try it. But I guess you didn't mean "OVER" BB's FSG - though that seems interesting!
