Default haircuts from non-curlies

I usually get my haircut from a friend of mine that works at a salon but also cuts out of her house, so I normally go to her house. Since I know and like her and get a good deal from her I'd like to keep going to her, but she's pretty uneducated for the curly girl method. What's some advice I can give her in order to maximize my haircut experience and satisfaction? Also, how should I deal with the no shampoo deal - just have her put conditioner in my hair, rinse, and cut? Thanks for any advice, I'm only about 8 weeks into this method, so I'm new at it! (p.s. I'm pretty sure I have 3b hair, but its hard to tell because its so long and varies a lot day to day).

I would say the most crucial thing for your friend to know is to cut your hair dry. If you cut curly hair wet, it will turn out shorter when its dry. I trim my own hair, although I am no professional. I've mostly followed the advice in the Curly Girl book. Maybe check out the book and show it to your friend?

Curl Style: 3b/3c
Texture: Fine
Porosity: Normal

Co-wash: Giovanni TTTT (my hair loves this)
RO: GVP CB or DevaCurl One Condition, occasionally with honey
Gel: Biotera Styling Gel, BioSilk RHG
Styling: AG Re:coil, CJ Beauticurls, Lube
