Cheap Plastic-free Gel?

I've pretty much declared SS CEJ and FHG my HGs and have been using them exclusively. The problem is that it only takes me only a couple months or so to burn through a container of each, which could get expensive.

I'm thinking I need to mix up my routine with another, cheaper product combo possibility.

I've had decent results with FSG+any traditional gel, but I hate using lots of synthetic materials in my hair. I know it's a long shot, but anyone know of a cheap drug store gel that doesn't have plastics or heavy-duty acrylates?
waves, loose coils, and cherub curls (=mixed 2s through 3a), very fine texture overall (but with medium and even coarse strands scattered throughout)
Garner Fructis's new Pure Clean gel is plastic free, I'm pretty sure. It's also a nice gel that's fairly cheap and rinses out well.
Roll Tide!
I was at the 2009 and 2011 BCS National Championship Games

Medium-coarse, super high density, normal porosity, low elasticity.
I'm currently trying out various Curl Junkie and Devacurl products.

Looks like you're right:

Ingredients
Aqua (Water) , Sorbitol , Glycerin , Dehydroxanthan Gum , Benzyl Alcohol , Lithium Magnesium Sodium Silicate , Fragrance , Limonene , Citronellol , Linalool , Acacia Senegal (Acacia Senegal Gum)

Sounds perfect. Thanks for the tip!

Anyone try it yet?
