3-Barrel Jumbo Weaver?

Has anybody ever used a 3-Barrel Jumbo Weaver? It looks interesting for maybe creating more of a wavy curl than I have. I can't ever figure out how to achieve wavy instead of half-shrunken curly. Here's a link:

Found it on ulta.com. I'm SUPER excited because we just got an Ulta about 20 min away from me!! YAY! I'm searching around for all the stuff I'm gonna go buy and ran across this iron. What do you think?

i have that and so far it leaves me with cute waves..but i tend not to put anything in my hair afterwards so the hold by the end of the day is barely any waves left but if i sprayed my hair with hair spray and use it i would have better hold waves . i havent used in in almost a year tho

ok! I'd love to see your hair!

I'm hoping to hear from someone with 3b/3c curls or something similar. I just wonder if this would loosen my curl for very long, or if it would just spring right back up into 3c. It is ceramic.

I had one of those for many years and I loved the nice waves I got for it but they only last if you use some kind of spritz for hold. I used it when I used to straighten and my hair was BSL length and longe= BEAUTIFUL. But I found that styling my hair with that thing did not look good when my hair was at shoulder length or shorter. (IMO, only) Well, it isn't something you would want to do daily- its time consuming. But the results were real nice and I always got compliments.

So you only ever used it on straightened hair? I'm wondering if I could pull my curls down and just sort of press them out with it. I don't like my hair straight, but wavy or pressed out some would be good. Mostly, I'd intended to use it on my underneath layer.

Yea I only used it on straightened hair. I've never done it on curly-styled hair. It just may work for what you want; won't know till you try. I'd go ahead and get it then just keep your receipt in case it doesn't work out.

yea i forgot to mentioned i also too just used it on straighten hair but never curly.. i noticed on second day hair for straighten it lasted a lil longer the waves..it wasnt too time consuming for me but u need good hold hair spray or something to keep the waves going all day.
