how can you tell if protein works or not with your hair?
I keep seeing people talking about their hair not liking the protein in products etc....how can you tell? I guess what I mean is, what happens to your hair that lets you know that protein is causing the problem
my hair tends to get dry and frizzy (but not terrible) and the curls tend to pull out and droop as the day goes on....trying to find a good routine and good products to boost my natural curl
If I use too much protein my hair gets straigher and dry and frizzy. When my hair is wet I can feel where the protein has deposited on my hair. I have two spots it seems to do that badly on. I'm not sure why those spots but my hair is always tangly there and a bit straighter and rougher.
If my hair gets too much protein, it starts looking and feeling like straw. And then I have to overcompensate with moisturizer to get my hair back to par again.
