I agree with the Lobster (love your name, by the way
) I use a super hard crunchy gel on purpose for hold, then "SOTC" (scrunch out the crunch)
You can also try leaving an oil in over your conditioner. Coconut oil is my favorite, it seals and is also the only oil that I know of that actually penetrates the hair shaft. It leaves my curls suuuuper soft and bouncy.

Cleanse: various low-poos (still searching)
Condish: Aura Cherry Almond Bark (but always on the look-out)
Styling: LI, curl cream, gel. Insert various products appropriately.
I <3: Coconut & Argan oil, my Denman, a neat side-braid.
